Game has a few bugs: 1. When walking to the left of the flat you run into the border of the world, however, on the black side you can still see the overlay used to make the game look grainy. This does not occur on the right side as the camera doesn't move any further than the border of the world on that side. 2. After you've walked all the way left, you can run towards the right, but the camara doesnt move at the same speed as the character when running, this way you can run outside of the view of the camera. 3. When on the roof watching the fireworks you cannot run, but pressing shift while standing still and then moving left or right causes the character to move whithout the walking animation.
For anyone who enjoyed this game I encourage you to check out the dev's website, picture-enigmas.com (or just google picture enigmas), it's basically this game with a whole bunch of additional features, including a puzzle editor where you can design your own puzzles, two different puzzle gamemodes similar to picross and connect dots. It's great. Seriously.
havent tbeen playing this game for very long now, so i have a quick question, once you have bought the autoquest function, does it remain unlocked in the next dimensions you go trough? I'm just trying to be smart about spending hellstones.
"What are hellstones you ask? Well, when a mommy and a daddy demon love eachother very much..." -Demon Merchant
So hellstones are like demon eggs? Or demon-cum...? That's f**ked up fam.
Great point-and-click adventure, but there seem to be a couple bugs with things disappearing when you go trough things quickly, and achievements not working propperly. I brewed the potion to pour in the lake, but I clicked away before the flask filling animation finished and it didn't give me the potion, stopping me from progressing any further. Same happened with the drunk guy dissappearing after I got his hair and clicked on the room where you can buy the wine bottle.
Also, once I made a third game file because of these issues, and completed the game, Kongregate doesn't give me the achievement. Clicking the finished save file is no good either, because you are left without the wheel and can't finish the game "again" to try get the achievement to work.
I loved the game though, these are just some unintentional issues that make it a bit annoying and tedious to complete.
Great game, I've noticed though that when you leave it running for a while the game gets extremely laggy for me. I'm guessing it's some kind of memory leak because refreshing the page fixes it, which is why its only really an issue when it happens while running a dungeon. It happened to me once when I didnt refresh, and the game got so laggy that something screwed up and I couldnt make any more moves in that fight, forcing me to surrender that battle.
Quick little strategie: tick every circle twice to see what happens. If a row lit up, that means that number is the exact number you need to subtract from that row, so you can lock all numbers in that row higher than the one you just ticked.
For instance there's row |2 3 2 4 4 4| that needs to be 17 total. when I tick the first "2" the row will light up because the total is 17. I can now lock all higher numbers (3,4,4,4).
I now know that the one I need to romove is one of those 2 twos.
Do this systhematically for evey number and you'll get yourself a quick headstart without even having ot really think.
There's a little problem I find really annoying. If I hold A and D at the same time and then let go of either one the shield will stop moving, instead of turning the way of the button I am still pressing.
After having replayed Raze 2 just now, this game feels lacking in alot of ways, first of all the general look seems less polished (I just prefer the look of Raze 2 in general) such as the fonts in the players overview of the pause screen, the guns in the HUD are incredibly hard to distinguish whether or not you have them available, the number keys dont correspond to the different weapons, input lag (and I mean to the point where it becomes impossible for me actually play), not having acces to some guns because you have to buy "premium", enemy AI seems to be doing close to nothing in the first couple levels. I am honestly greatly dissapointed because I have always liked the other Raze games. It now seems AddisonR played a huge role in the quality of the other parts.
Seems alot less optimized than the other parts. Being a person with a half decent laptop, raze 1 and 2 run very smoothly while this game has an incredible amount of input-lag. Gonna give it a 3/5 just because I really enjoyed the Raze-serie.
I don't know what it is but I just love the fact that you can press all the buttons when they are still sliding into the screen. Having to wait for animations to finish is a hell. 5/5
@DySe_xONEx in one of the files is a picture of a cake with the age he becomes, in another file is a message saying his birthday was that day, take a look at the date it was sent, then subtract the amount of years on the birthday cake of the amount of years in the date of that message, that should be his birthday.
Auto-quest is a permanent purchase, and will be unlocked through out your travels.
