Meh, it's not that terrible, just a giant time waster. I got a laugh out of whacking meteors and seeing if I could avoid making stars explode, but I probably wouldn't spend all day playing this, vs a good defense game.
This is a fun action shooter with some good gameplay. it takes a while to build up your ship to do anything cool and it seems like all the missiles and stuff is in the external pods you drag around, rather than components you add to the ship itself, but still there's a bit of depth in what you can do. What the game could use is a bit more quickness in ramping up the interest, less time flying around from place to place, and some achievements so it would be worth some k-points.
This was easy fun, just spend a bit of time upgrading the guns and you can get the achievements easy peasy. Still, the graphics are hilarious. Who doesn't like blasting a turtle into outer space?
This game is too passive and random for a "strategy" game. Basically you pick your mutations and then sit there and hope you get lucky infecting countries before they close down. Even if you do everything right and go totally stealth, you still have a slim chance of catching them all before everything's locked out, and then you can't win. Even worse, if a country with a working hospital locks down before you infect it, (unlikely but it can happen), you're guaranteed to get wiped out eventually.
The octopus is easy if you can clear the enemies with about 3 minutes left. Then you just have to take out the tentacles one at a time and kill the tentacles. What I did is max out Attack, Defense, Speed, and Fireball, and fireball the main house of one of the enemies right at the start and attack it straight away, that enemy will fall real quickly, then just fireball/take the houses of the other enemy until you've got the whole map, which shouldn't take more than a minute or two. Then alternate stuffing your dudes into crystals/towers and then attacking the tentacles with the powered up guys until the tentacles die, which should take about two waves each, while fireballing the head. You don't have to take out all the tentacles, maybe three of them, but if you do well, you'll have plenty of time to take them all out if you want to.
