Nice game, just as the last one :)
Would be nice if the whole title is clickable, instead of just the a/b/c buttons, and if the correct answer was given if you've got it wrong :o *learning stuff and such*
The x/z and left/right arrow keys only work after an initial mouseclick, next to this, some instructions would help, for example informing how z corresponds with the red tiles and x with green, as opposed to going left and right, what you'd expect in most games.
Some actual feedback. The achievement names are quite unreadable with the transparent background, maybe put them in a seperate window. Next to this, the whole history thing is nice, but it's hard to keep track of were you were with reading. Maybe just make a seperate window with the story, adding 'new' story stuff in a slightly different colour, and graying it out each time a user has went to the story screen and had time to read up. (hope that makes sense)
Furthermore: try reversing the order of upgrades, putting things you have already bought at te bottom, and 'to-be-bought' stuff at the top. Now you have to hover over the box to see if you can actually buy something.
Good luck with development though :)
Is there a reason for not using the standard wasd or arrow system? making j the jump key is really not intuitive. I think the game is hard enough without.
Fun game, kept me amused for quite a while :)
It would maybe help to have a 'buy max', as for later stages you have to click quite a lot :P
Maybe something like shift+click for buying in batch.
Using chrome, the up/down arrow keys sometimes switch to scrolling the browser up and down , which is quite annoying.
wasd works fine though :)
Nice game so far. Let's see how far I can get o.O
Hey, thanks, hope you get far ! :)
And yeah, that's the browser's fault, nothing I can do, I made the game fully controlable with WASD and you can also play in cinematic mode so it has no effect if it scrolls the page up/down. Thanks for the feedback though, cheers!
Nice game so far :)
I was also stuck on 1.10 for a long time, but with some guesses as to what basement_dweller was talking about, I figured it out :P
I agree that the last test would be more clear with some parenthesis or rewording, the idea in general is nice :)
Maybe it would be nice to gain more starting AP-points when getting accolades, or getting to a certain level. When you get down to 2AP on larger levels, you really can only guess the culprit if your descriptions are all about their traits.
I like the game, but it's kind of frustrating get so little coins from a level, since I cannot upgrade my stuff without much coins, I'll be stuck for a long while. :|
Nice game :)
Can't get past 27, but maybe in a few tries I can get past those waaaay fast moving blocks.. x.x
Found a bug though:
the spacebar doesn't respond while I'm already pressing my left+up arrow keys, while it does work when I'm pressing right+up. which is kind of annoying when doing tricky jumps.
Cute game.
I don't see why I should lose lives while I succesfully complete a level though.
Also, a mute button would be nice, I like to listen to my own music :'P especially since it's a little repetitive.
Good luck with the further development!
Thanks for your comment! Added to the maybe-to-do-list
