I picked this game based on the name, thinking it was going to be satirical in some way. I proceeded to play all the previous ones, and found this game to be sadly beautiful. I love it.
"In a minute, peaceful bots turned into a merciless killers." Not that it is important to gameplay or anything, but in an effort for a perfect game, the "a" is grammatically incorrect
Well, in case anyone is wondering I got it. I would recommend playing with a large city. It is crucial to get a hospital quickly to prevent deaths and from them amass as many possible survivors while playing smart; make sure to have about 50% happiness at least, less than 30% danger, and enough food. I found it useful to stick all the guys that knew science on to just increase general skills.
The secret to the last level on insane is to exploit the map. The way I did it was to use a Bam Bam (custom Grenade launcher) and just sit in a corner and launch grenades as long as possible. Eventually 25 kills without seeing them most of the time.
I kind of didn't like this game as much as the others, though its isn't terrible. I really like the custom weapon ideas and the team leveling, though the disadvantages of each person seemed a little unbalanced, especially with anemic that took away a huge character component compared to, say, loud or fatigued that don't really do anything.
The experimental guns seems like a huge waste of potential. With the short range and propensity to damage/kill yourself with them, even the status effects aren't really worth it. I think if they made it so that the experimental guns couldn't damage you and had at least a little longer range, they could be usable.
They new freeze effect is really cool though.
Why did the wizard (with all the spells I assume he knows) teach me a spell that kills creatures by making them bigger? Especially in a forest where half the creatures gain power as they gain size, this seemed like possibly a bad idea
Made it ALL THE WAY to the end of the last level and the boss hypnotized all my guys, who soon killed each other and hordes of skeletons marched past. Ugh :'(
The only trouble I had with the game was how the armor was completely useless when it took away AP and how you had a ton of money left over. Also, it would be nice if each unit could get a specialization or something (e.g - demolition expert, sniper) with its own skill tree and equipment.
Unlimited money: Go to a place with a good price for silver and iron with the ship and sell down to the medieval tank and then sell back up over and over again. You get serious money.
How does slaying justify itself? I have it maxed out and it takes 8 time slots and only gives $40 per time. Compare that to movies that gives $750 per time and only takes 5 time slots and it easily becomes the worst job on the board,
Loved the game, but I had one thought that the helmets and armor should have special bonuses beyond just cosmetics. Maybe like take less damage or have higher accuracy or something.
Will be fixed, thanks :)
