Came for the daily badge and found myself going for the medium. Then I found myself continuing to play and see what else this game has to offer. It's amazing.
I think it would be nice to bar certain jobs from being filled during auto assign. When a certain type of worker is obsolete, namely merchants when you have copper mines and they only produce +1, it would be really good to prevent workers from taking those jobs
For those looking to replay to get all badges wave 56 is where there's an absolute horde of small, weak bunnies. Combine w/ grenade launcher to easily rack up kills.
I gotta say recruiting different kinds of survivors is fun but most of the missions I go on are just rambling searching for engineers, builders, and captains. Kind of wish there was an education mechanic where I could turn citizens into other things.
The game is really awesome at its core but there's so many issues that prevent me from being able to give it a strong rating. Mostly due to major issues like not having a save mechanic *accidentally backclicked on my mouse during my third run. Early on but bad nonetheless* and minor things like some enemies being able to break entanglement making the spell unpredictable and sometimes useless.
I should note that I did improve and get the badge with plenty to spare afterwards but you can still understand how I felt when I fell short because the cutscene didn't stop the timer afterwards.
The cutscene continues to countdown ever after you won. I got to above 900 and fully upgraded the environment but the cutscene dropped it to 897. The score cutoff should be as soon as you upgrade to the final level.
Look, I'm going to be nuanced here. People aren't arguing without a base when we say it is "p2w". The game is FLOODED with for-sale things popping up constantly. Massive numbers of annoying in-game ads and tons of things like this are irritating. The game itself is fun and the art style is not only creative but beautifully executed.
However, it becomes hard to enjoy it when everything around every corner is for-sale. If you are going to do microtransactions they need to at least have some level of restraint. Additonally, many players are reporting that later missions do become a grindfest and the only way to get past them is to dish out the cash for the high-tier units.
It seems like a fun game I want to get into but it's hard to play it in its current state.
Thank you for your opinion. When you log in for the first time in the game, 1 sale popup for you. you close it and done. You will not need any more sale except if you look for them in the offers place on the right side of your screen in the main base view. That is all about sales. hey are optional and for sure you no need any sale for a run in our game.
"Wow a 100 combo for the medium badge? That looks hard!"
"Thanks for playing on Kongregate, here's an upgrade that lets you perform infinite combos"
"Oh"
I love how inconsiderate everyone is in that they force the cashier to sit through their extended review sessions instead of letting them work on other orders
Tip: When the numbers fade out, that means you got it
You can experiment each line by adding whatever combination of squares and Xs if you are stuck
Once you have the line correct, the number will fade out
"None of your combatants need any consumables at this time"
Okay, so I can't use health potions even when I'm about to die, so why are they even in the game?
Would be nice if there was a way to tell if the person we're about to face in the arena didn't spend $200 on microtransactions and has all legendary cards
A few things;
-The Foundry shouldn't turn all iron into miniscule quantities of gold
-Units should be able to be standardized so you don't have to click so much
-Research and adventure items need to be able to be created and researched very early on. As is, the expensive buildings push the items deep into late game, making it so most of the lower level ones are never used and quests feel very empty without them.
