Why do people rate down on legit issues like receiving no badges? It's not a knock at the game or developers. It's just letting the devs and site know that something went wrong. Since it's badge of the day, you'd think this info would be useful to know so that if something is wrong, it can be looked into. Anyway, I found the game to be simple, elegant, and well thought out. Slider puzzles have always amused me, but this takes it to a whole new level of challenging and fun. Nice job on the music too. Perhaps a challenge mode can be added when all levels are done? Something like completing all challenges within a set number of moves? Just a thought. Thanks for taking the time to make this!
I'm not implying the connection is the issue. I was saying, I'm already having issues anyway because I have a slow connection, so despite that (loading games and the website can be mind-numbingly slow at times), I still got the badge. I could see it hesitate once in a while, but it wasn't outright unplayable...at least not for grabbing the badge. For playing long term? Yeah...it'd be a problem then. I cannot see myself finishing the game with that issue. But the badge part is just 5 levels and a little patience.
Yes, there were some lags, but it doesn't make the game entirely unplayable. It took me about 4 minutes to get the daily badge. I'm playing on a very slow connection too...if that says anything. So, just use a little patience. ;)
Corflu: I had this problem too. If you're playing through Chrome, you need to look at the top RIGHT side of your browser's URL bar, next to the star (favorites icon) and you should see a puzzle icon with an X on it. Click on it, and tell it to allow plugins to work on kongregate. Then reload.
Next issue I had was not being able to log into RoE because Chrome also changed cookie permissions. I spotted another cute little icon in the URL bar, next to the star, that was a cookie with a red boxed X on it. That one, I had to manage cookie permissions, and go into BLOCKED, then click on realmofempires and kongregation, and select ALLOW on all of those. Reload the screen again, and TADA! It's all working again.
Chrome just needs to stop messing with our permissions. In their efforts to protect us, they kind of broke a few other things...temporarily. LOL! Hope this helps!
zzzZzz Don't play this when tired...you've been warned. All I did was keep dozing off to sleep while trying to "walk around" and "catch stuff"...which literally consists of tediously walking every square inch of the entire game to "find pokeyman". ZzzzZzz -_-
Not bad, and I know it's the first of the series, but I am still mostly in love with gemcraft labyrinth. I just adore the shiznit out of that game!! Even bought the premium pack for it. XD Going backward in the series is challenging since so many improvements were made by the time labyrinth came around. But regardless, I still enjoy playing ANY version of gemcraft. You guys knocked it out of the park with this tower defense.
Of all the updates done, the one STILL not implemented is a way to log into another realm when you play more than one, and one of them is in sleep mode. I'm given only one option, still. To cancel sleep mode in order to log in and switch realms to the one that is NOT in sleep mode. I can access it through the mobile app (which is really difficult for me to use versus on a laptop), but I cannot do this while on the laptop. Come on devs. It's time this update was released already.
No. Just...no. Not new player friendly, IMO. I read through all the stuff, claimed three spaces and then the ?computer? claimed one of my spots and it told me to fight for it. So I did. A level ONE with four cards, all upgraded to level 3 cards, and each time I'd get to the other side of the screen, battling down the enemy, it would then send a MASSIVE wave and annihilate me. This was three times, waiting (very patiently for more than "a few minutes") for my hero to regen, only to rinse and repeat. What a mind numbing process. It's a point, click, and hope for the best sort of game. To those who did it, kudos. You have far more patience that I. This game needs a much better tutorial with BIGGER lettering for those who are squinting to see it all, and definitely needs a little nerfing at the start to pull in brand new players to this ?series?..
Sorry. No. This was too buggy for me to play. Sometimes I'd die by disappearing INTO the game and randomly falling off of the screen because it was lagging and not moving fast enough to keep up with me. It made it very hard to play this. I had to stop and give up after the gang kidnapped the little sister.
QUEST: A LETTER TO A HUSBAND - HOW TO COMPLETE:
Go into Calderia City (not south Calderia), and follow a path to the left where there is a trigger/box that is red. Press it, open it (only opens if certain quests are complete...which means the last quest you'll have left that you cannot complete is the letter to husband quest). When it opens, accept the new MAIN STORY quest called "Demons in the East". Go around picking up the items. Now, remember the guard that wouldn't let you by to get to south gate Calderia? Click on him and you can pass. Enter the new city, go right toward the river, and beat the FIVE baddies (good idea to go pick up a few more quests around south Caleria, because you gain another companion who is a mage called Brendan). When you have Brendan, you can attack the five baddies fairly easily. Take them down, and behind them is a man/guard. Deliver the letter to him and you complete the A Letter to a Husband quest.
You are welcome.
