There's no reason not to take advantage of modern technology just a little. I'd like to click on things with the mouse to look at them? or maybe a list of words at the bottom of the screen you can point and click with the mouse
Tips: to kill land creeps, use 1 upgraded Slow tower surrounded by Splash towers. There is no special tactic for air creeps. Also, multiple level 1 towers is usually better than 1 upgraded tower (most games do it the other way around). Between levels you gain 10% interest. Click 'next wave' early and you get a little bonus (not sure what the mechanic behind that is)
When I first read the words "future self" my eyes rolled at the lameness of the concept (southpark, anyone?). But then you turned it into a great story/stories! Other points of interest: the time travelling humour and attempts at unrelated future history (2nd korean war? not-so-LOL). Most of the reading comes from Future Todd's 2-faced personality and his possibility of being redeemed. If you make a bigger game, a 'choice-map' might help.
@Nerdook, for a month's work, this is a solid mini-action game you put out. Completely non-sensical as usual, but you took the time to put in an upgrade path & out-of-focus pause screen. neat!
