Now this would be one of the best games if it had:
Better graphics(zombies look like they`re from a kiddie comic-book,just make them more scary and it would be cool).
Actually shooting the zombies(like when you fight you see zombies head explode).
A bit reducance on the starting land luck factor(if you fall into an area with nothing good around you you either lose of loss of food or not enough happiness).
And finally:More game(you know what I`m talking about).With such a small game it loses it`s replay value after 2-3 times.
Step 1:Choose a hand option
Step 2:Put (mouse)pointer on top of his head.
Step 3:Move him around but don`t kill him.
Step 4:While moving him press CTRL(nails).
Step 5:Enjoy the sight of him still being alive even with the nail in his head.
What a great game.All the other zombie games are all either just mindless shooting or some stupid strategy theme.This one has it all:
Food
You need space
Defences
Scientists
Although I have couple of suggestions:Tell the people how to finish the game(by curing the zombie pandemic).I first thought I win if I recapture the whole town.Also I didn`t lose my first town.Although it was on easy difficulty only 1 soldier died in battle.And this could do with different types of food:You tell the farms what to create just like with lab.
Great game.However I think you should add couple of things:
1)Background (like the mafiamedeman suggested):Make it one of those old cowboy movies.
2)Ending:There would be two kind of endings:
Good ending-He is in the hospital recovering(if you pass the game)
Bad ending-You see his funeral(if you get killed)
3)Ranks:You would get ranks depending on your points you earned in game.When you die your points get deducted by 50 but when you win your points are 50 points higher.Like:
-50(if the first guy kills you) to -25: Handicapped farmer
-25 to 0:Farmer
0 to 25:Excellent farmer
25 to 50:Rookie shooter
And so on.
Also if you pass the game,depending on your points,you will get better rooms.For example:
Lowest score possible by passing the game-Stinky room with poisoned food
Above 400-Best,nice smelling room,with lots of pretty nurse and great food.
Of course add some more rooms in between.
