Since you asked... the downside of not being able to turn 2X speed on and off is managing power spells and other non-idle game play....usually the game is too slow but from time to time when actively playing you want to slow it down to make active decisions....
I had to do this because of how temp 2x speed works on the mobile version. But I don't understand why anyone would want to turn it off in the first place? There is zero downside to keeping it on 100% of the time.
The 2X speed countdown clock is STILL counting down with the 2X speed box unchecked. Please fix this! It also continues to countdown while the game is paused. None of the other countdown clocks change while paused and I don't see why this one should.
So.... once you purchase the 2X game speed, the four hour timer starts even if the 2X game speed box is unchecked? This seems like it should corrected.
