It's like a less good version of Frantic Frigates. Don't get me wrong, it was still fun, but it was that "Who cares?" kind of fun, where I'm going to not think about the game any length of time down the line.
Okay, don't get me wrong; I'll start by saying that I respect the work you put in to this game. That being said, the engine is not really improved at all from last year, and as I said last year, and I'll say again, this game would benefit greatly by being synced to the beat-lines. The way I see it, why program those lines in if you're not going to use them. Being a charter myself (I've done some work for the RBN, and I chart on the FoF forums), I have a lot of insight into accurate guitar charts. If you'd like some pointers at some time, feel free to message me; I'd really love to see Santa Rockstar 5 be a drastic improvement, because the premise of the game is excellent, but the poor sync, and occasional inaccuracy of the note placement musically really drag it down for me.
This game is nothing short of incredible. The only issue I had was that the game ran out of itself so quickly. I was wondering, is there any hope for an "Elephant Quest 2"?
This is by far my favorite idle RPG ever. That being said, I got a 39 multiplier at skool, and still didn't get my achievement. Has anyone else had this problem?
I hate to say this, but charts like this would be chastised mercilessly on the Frets on Fire forums. It's like you didn't even try to synchronize the beats to the music or put accurate notes for whether the pitch ascended or descended. I recognize that from a programming standpoint, this was a lot of work, and I respect that, but it doesn't make it a good game. 2/5
