An extra feature that would be really nice to see would be different quest sets that you would switch between. I'm really tired of losing high level equipment when I'm doing quick restocking low-level quests. Having changeable quest sets would be an easy way to quickly change to low level stuff for low level quests and not have to worry about losing valuable items.
From what I've tried so far, here's the easiest strategy to get up and running easily:
First, don't worry about surrounding your fuel cells AT ALL. It's too hard to surround them with enough heat venting items anyways to cool off properly without taking out a ton of space.
Put them off by themselves (do a 2x2 square). Then, put out 2 heat outlets so that each one has 4 vent sources. Don’t put anything around the actual fuel cells because the heat outlets will vent the heat before it ever hits your reactor. Also, never put vents directly next to the outlets, they'll burn out faster than they can cool off in higher levels.
Put the two outlets 4 squares apart (like OEEEEO) You’ll then want to have another 20 exchangers/30 vents surrounding it—I tried to draw a diagram but I can’t keep the formatting. Just those two outlets, if you’ve got enough distribution, is more than enough to cool a 2x2 of fuel cells.
After a certain point, I'm constantly getting a horrible lag with the game. I've raised the cache, lowered the content, and am using a computer than can play brand new, full games, so I'm pretty sure it's not a problem on this end. Is anyone else having this problem?
To all the people talking about how it's impossible to get the last pixie because it's right above the water pole and you can't jump that high: that's actually a frozen piece of the diary, you won't be able to get to that until you get all of the pixies, but they are all hidden in caves where you can reach them easily.
Having the ability to assign your upkeep staff (maids, engineers) to specific areas would help a lot. As it is right now, they spend more time wandering around than they do actually fixing everything. When you have 20 + floors, by the time they realize floor 1 needs cleaning, and almost every single one of them goes down to do a job that only takes one of them to do, you've wasted a huge amount of work time from there. Having a way to minimize their wandering would help massively.
This has been suggested in the past. We'll bring this back up with the team.
