Sometimes (very often actually) I have to click several times to issue the order, and even then it might not do anything. Just keeps the group selected, the cursor changed and nothing happens when I click. Sometimes it won't even let me deselect the group of units... And can't I have my units cancel their attacks and retreat? No, better let them try to finish those slow attacks and die, while the rest of my army is pulling back.
