You tend to pull facts out your arse, then find sources to back them up. When that fails, you go for stuff that’s quite clearly biased, and you’ve based arguments entirely on fact and opinion.
Your knowledge database seems very limited, or just incorrect.

Um…if you can’t base an argument on fact and opinion, why don’t you just let the ignorant run free? I imagine thats how you have managed to stick around so long. Of course both sides of a debate are going to be biased…..duh. Also, the stuff I site is often biased against my opinion, it just serves as an example. Like when I linked a socialist site in a debate against socialism. It supported my point just as well as anything else would have. And seeing as you haven’t said anything so far that isn’t based on opinion, you really shouldn’t have accused in the first place. My knowedge database is expansive, people are just too stupid to realize it, because it doesn’t agree with them.

Picking things with tremendous amounts of bias isn’t the best course of action. Minimal bias is what’s needed, which there are few sources for that: Wikipedia articles that aren’t in need of clean up, and for news, well, there’s plenty for that.

Incorrect knowledge isn’t really knowledge, now is it? At least do a little research when you say, for example, “Obama’s questionable citizenship”, when a quick search will pull up more than enough info to quell that.

And anyways, I’ve stuck around for so long because:
A. What little real debate in this area exists, is full of extremist idiots
B. It’s a pain in the ass to get into
C. Many people here don’t hate my guts. Those that do, well, they’re always banned. No connection of mine-it’s just that I tend to clash violently with idiots and extremists.

Well, the Aeneid was made as propaganda, as well as pretty much every piece of Roman mythology to tie Rome to the great civilizations of old to give it a right to kick ass.
Which it really didn’t need. A single city, spawning one of the greatest empire to ever exist. Really, just a village, when they took on and defeated the Etruscan cities, and slowly rose to power.

Wasn’t built in a day. ;) Yeah, Vergil was a shameless propagandist. But he wrote cool stories, so I’m ok with it. Rome was bound to fall someday too though. History says, no human power, no matter how big, or small, will last forever. I wonder when the U.S. will meet it’s time.

Considering Rome stayed a center of power in the Western world, and is still quite powerful, it hasn’t truly fallen. Sri Lanka has fallen. Alexandria and Cairo have fallen. But Rome has decayed slowly. Like a slow fall, really.
