This is a pretty cool puzzle game. I think the thing that messes me up the most is that the hearts mean no touching pixels on all four adjacent squares. @.@ (But that's just me forgetting the rules every level) I also love how there's no guessing; that's my least favorite part of puzzle games. Quality entertainment.
How do I collect bonus bubbles...? Why does it put a multiplier besides one of the suffix or prefixes I've been given...? Does that even effect anything...? What does clearing objectives even do for me...? What determined when suffixes or prefixes are rotated...? This game needs better instruction than just "type words to make a tower!" because there's obviously more going on here.
On the one hand, I like the aesthetics of Kitty Catsanova better but on the other, I like how Crush Crush has implemented Sad Panda's set of unique clicker/idle game mechanics. Seeing what gets crushed to gain the next girl is also hilarious. Nutaku is uh... a little over the top, but she has some real gems of lines. (I'm thinkin' of a particular one about the bright colors chosen for the background. lol) All and all pretty sound; progression happens at a satisfying pace and gaining/leveling a girl is rewarding thanks to the dialogue and intro story.
This game is super cute and pretty amusing but it's honestly just lost all the fun for me. 200k hearts to level this cat? That's just obscene. For an idle game, the rewards for waiting are minuscule compared to the amount of clicking you're expected to do. The amount of hearts required scales ridiculously faster than the amount of hearts I can hand out (which seem to have not scaled at all).
Hi,
We're implementing a new leveling system for the Kitty's that will make the heart requirements more consistent. Also, Dates/Crafts/Treats all grant hearts to your Kitty. You might find that if you meet those requirements first, there really isn't very many hearts left for you to give.
The game appears to be broken, which is a pity because it seems to be a rather cool game. But the broken text, infinite travel + excessive amounts of heavily armored bucaneer parties and lack of tutorial on how to heal between towns makes it hard to play. i.e. impossible.
This game has crossed the line from challenging to tedious at that level with the teleport pads. @.@ Having to carefully NOT knock them through the teleporters is near impossible. Three stars for interesting mechanics, one star for implied plot twist but minus one for the tedious aspect.
This game is the master of frustrating and hard to use mechanics. @.@ It's really obnoxious to have to start a level completely over just because I tapped into a frog. Other than that, it's a pretty basic game for it's genre. 3/5.
The hair for the female character is soooo cute~~ The graphics are very nice and though the training is a little hard to understand at first, the mechanics are fun. Great game! 5/5
The fact that we can't split the cost of an engagement ring is kinda annoying. Also, there's sooooo many features and so many of them aren't properly explained. Pretty game, girls could due with less bikini armor, but not being able to split costs for marriage is disappointing.
I can't get it to work? The music plays slow and super crackly, and no shapes appear on the screen. :/ It's part of a quest, so I was hoping to play it, but it just doesn't work... Is there a way to fix this?
The Kongpanions are cute and all, but once you get more than three on the screen the game starts to lag uncontrollably. ^^;; Maybe let us pick just three to display or put in an option to turn off the graphics for the Kongpanion bonuses, but not the numerical bonuses themselves?
Dunno if this is a common issue, but my computer can't run the game. I could play the previous one on highest graphic settings but this one, even on low, just complains about bugs in the script and crashes my Flash player. :/ Otherwise, it's super exciting to be able to play as a girl in this installation~~ It's cool that the base outfits for girls are the same as the one's for guys. @.@ Can't get it to play, but it's still a 5/5 from me.
Ugh, this game is fantastic. @.@ The storyline is unique and entertaining, and though it's disappointing that there are no female front line fighters all of the characters are still super radical. Kinda like the epic child of Abhorsen and Disgaea yet still totally original. 5/5 Hands down. Wish there was a higher rating.
The game play is really basic and the needless over-sexualization of the player character is unpleasant. Yeah, I can turn off the end battle animation but that doesn't stop the panty flash when she spins at the end of battle, or the fact she's been designed with ridiculous boobs and a super tiny skirt; your "fanservice" button doesn't turn off much of anything. :/ 1/5 For blatantly sexist character design.
Just a little plot reveal... (was supposed to make it more obvious for the sequel but I guess a lot of people did not even notice the crumbs.) Lucrea Quarta's character was based on the Seven Deadly Sins. She is obviously no saint. In fact, the game's protagonist is even the antagonist in very different ways. Unfortunately, most of the game's critics only noticed the 'LUST' part of her many other 'sinful' characteristics. And that reaction actually says a lot. (Greed even got seen-zoned) - This game is definitely not for you. I just wished you closed the game and go play something else instead of rating it because of personal opinions.
I think I figured out the issue with countries and cities that don't strike me as famous because the names are so obscure: you aren't using the English names for cities and countries all the time. Like, if I'm looking for ATHENS I can place it on a map, but if you call it Athina no one is gonna look for Athens... It's an unfair tactic to use the wrong name for cities just to trip the player up. :/ Cute game, but that kinda defeats the educational purpose.
The boxes for clicking are a little off which makes clicking on things difficult... Also, the tutorial never explain what is even going on in battle. @.@ It's real confusing. Dunno if it's a computer issue or not, but the bottom part of the game is clipped off so I can't really access the chat window...
It's kinda fun, but all of the tactics and stuff it recommends are way to hard to actually use. Like, sorting your units is a pain in the butt and everyone gets clumped up really easily. @.@ It's honestly kinda frustrating.
Ya know, I first thought that wars were going to be a "push the button and it's done" kind of event, but I'm kinda pleased to find out that they're not. Like, taking awhile to build up to conquest and then the conquest taking time to complete is pretty cool and really adds flavor. Also, maybe an easy fix to the low return from conquered countries would be to just give an upgrade panel for each a la the regular upgrades? So you'd have like, nine upgrades per country to save for. It could make the game longer...
We're one-upping that and making it so you can use troops to build inside conquered countries and, if you already conquered a country, after reset you will be able to regain your countries easier. ~Taiga
This game is pretty great and it's really neat how the developers actually listen to what the players have to say about the game however, I do have one complaint: I understand that 1930s Africa was pretty heavily colonized so to speak (particularly S. Africa where the player comes from) so most of the wealth was in the hands of the white people who'd moved there but I still feel that it's a bit ridiculous that in the whole world there's only white people. I feel that among the white passengers in Africa there should also be a black passenger type since its still Africa which was still primarily black. Also, America has always been a melting pot even with racial problems so having no black passenger type there is also weird, same with Europe. :/ Can't say much about the world beyond since I just started with Asia, but if you're going to use the same four passenger types for every continent then they should really be more racial diverse.
