It's nice to know that I'll have (some) control over my battle AI at level 9. Although, my frustration level is such that I might not make it that far. I start a battle then change to a different window because I can't bear watching the idiocy. Maybe that's part of your plan to force player longevity, though. Make it so players have to repeat low level battles over and over for ages to gain one level.
Player AI for battles is ridiculously stupid. The enemies seem to grasp the concept of concentrating attacks on one of my own heroes while all of mine scatter and attack at random. Why not allow players to control their own battles? Or did I miss some setting or not clicking the right thing?
To add to Mozai and Headacher's comments: the store girl. Seriously? I'm playing this for the badges then I'll find something that isn't targeted at teenage boys.
The new layout is horrible. The most important information is crammed into a small corner in the left?? Meanwhile, space is wasted between buttons with distracting graphics. Brilliant.
I wish the customers had to follow the same footpaths as the workers. Once your store expands the customers will walk a meandering path to the very back and leave you with half a second to click on them before the day ends. I tried setting up a block, which prevents the workers from going beyond it, but the customers walk right through.
This was a terrible choice for badge of the day. Not a slam against the game. BotD shouldn't be something that requires so much time that it may be unattainable within one day.
It seems you're able to turn off music/sounds once. If you reload the game, the music/sounds are back even though the settings show they are turned off and nothing you do changes that.
Yes, please make a skip button! I'm not sure if it's my computer but the battle stops when I try to go do something useful on another browser window instead of watching the AI duke it out. The speed up buttons aren't fast enough. Please either allow the battle to continue while we surf other pages or give a skip button.
Unfortunately, the browsers mess java-script execution in the inactive tabs.
However, there is a way - run the game in a separate browser window. In this case the game will work in background.
Would be really helpful if we could see the current hero alongside the others when trying to choose a new one. Flipping back and forth repeatedly to check stats is a real pain. Unless I just missed something with the interface that allows this already?
Twice now I have spent time and resources to upgrade my town hall. If another worker finishes and I send him to pick mushrooms, the worker upgrading the town hall stops. All the time and resources are gone and I have to restart the upgrade with the full required resources. WTF?
At level 9, you get to set your own AI settings. Thank you for playing Heroes of the Realm!
