After buying the fire spell my monsters seem to self-ignite

apparently attacking an enemy doesn't give you land but instead increases the price for buying the next land

Depending on what level you are attacking, it should be giving you .01 * enemy level land each time you defeat the enemy. The price for buying land is based off your total land, and so even adding .01 will increase the purchase price. Hope this helped.
