If you don't mind using standard weaponry, and want a better team, sell the weapons you unlock (unlocking automatically gives you 1). Easy way to get some extra cash.
Tip for elevators:
Split up your elevators. If you have a 10-story hotel, and say, two elevators going to entire height, ALL the people in the hotel will have to use one elevator. If you have a 10-story hotel with four elevators, each five stories, it's the same amount of elevator (a little more expensive) but less use per elevator.
