I accidently pushed the third boss in the wall with knockback arrows. Now he's fighting my warrior mercenary until the ends of time. He keeps healing but can't damage me or my guys. Sigh.
Here's a tip for new players:
Playing shove is pretty useless. Unless you desperately need a few dollars (or genuinely enjoy the minigame) don't waste your time. You'll end up with too much money soon.
When I upgrade earthworks the thing stays greyed out. I can buy it multiple times for 1750 each time. I can upgrade my curtain walls into it though....
I just beat hard. Here's a few tips:
1- OPTIMIZE YOUR DECK!!
get 5 builders, recruits, wizards and remove everything you don't like until you have only 75 cards. The goal here is to get to a point where you consistently have more ressources than the cpu. If you have the sacrifices cards, get a few of them and use it strategically.
2- If you get a crappy first hand/the cpu blasts you with curse or something powerful in the first few turns... try again ! Just reset a few times until you have a nice hand.
3- Be patient. The cpu always has the upper hand at the beginning so just try to survive until the tide turns.
yay got it in 17 days. Almost 16. You need to think before buying upgrades. Most of the time you can buy 2 or 3 weaker upgrades that will get you farther than one big (exception is the glider. If you can buy a new one it's always the right thing to get)
I found out how to beat challenge level 4. It's not that hard when you're going with the right strategy.
You have to make the shield follow the sword and not the dragon. Lure the dragon while driving backwards. I got it on my first try with that tactic.
