I feel like people rate games based on what genre of games they like. Personally I think games should be rated on how well it fits it's game type, & if it was over all good in that sense. Look at this for instance, Red remover is hands down a 5/5 for a puzzle game. I hardly ever play puzzle games, but when i glance & see a new red remover game it's a wrap for me.
