Lol, I accidentally got the tree of memories to follow me around on the map. It was like having a tree buddy, who would dutifully wait for me as I dug around.
The trick is to look at his hand, when he moves it from the podium either two things are happening: A) he is about to look at you, or B) he is going to back to reading. Either way, stop kissing.
I absolutely adore this game. Nice work dev! I hope you work on making a sequel and really would LOVE to see a level editor, where you can link to a soundcloud or youtube or add an mp3 file and create the map and tempo. Maybe for later levels add a 3d like effect to allow for quaternotes and to double back on the path you already took. Like it shows the path you'll have to do in a different colour under the path you're currently taking. All in all I've definitely enjoyed this game and hope to see more from you in the future.
