Be careful about my plasma tip. If Atropos enters final form you are dead. There is no way you can beat Atropos final form with plasma unless you can afford to use all your bombs and rush him
Pro Tip: to minimize your time with Atropos's final form, you can reduce final form's health while Atropos still has armor. In Atropos' second and third forms, attacking the green orbs will damage Atropos while damaging the main body will damage the armor. Basically, if you can damage the green orbs without hitting Atropos' body, you might be able to kill Atropos without it showing its final form. However, remember that the homing mod will cause all your missiles to target Atropos's main body, and these orbs are usually moving extremely fast and showering the area with bullets. I think the only way to break these orbs is to use the plasma, as plasma is the only weapon you can turn "off" (get out of range) and isn't strengthened by the homing mod in anyway.
OMG I BEAT HYPERION?! For those who want to know how, I got all rockets with homing mods nd split mods, and one acid mod. My ship had fully upgraded hp and regen and speed (red one). I didn't buy a single damage or fire rate upgrade for the ship because they aren't necessary. I didn't get focus upgrades either, but I would suggest getting those. All weapons and mods fully upgraded. I had a warp drive and an RP collector which I forgot to take off (again, get the shield instead)
Omen sometimes goes twice in a row, and sometimes lets you go twice in a row. Build a lot of vitality, cuz he may perform a dark omen followed by an attack. (I believe the twice in a row is caused by applying a lowered speed buff on him)
The final boss isn't too hard even without cheats. Using Lance I failed exactly one time. I left bullet glow on tough, so it was extremely difficult to dodge
Note: on the higher levels, DO NOT use a cyclone in the middle of your lawn. If you do, all the enemies on the field will end up smack dab in the center. If you run out of cyclone in this situation, you are toast.
