Every description of machine gun is missing one extremely important ability. Lvl 1: basic machine gun. Lvl 2: basic machine gun (just more dmg). Lvl 3: random small bubbles spawn which when shot, explode doing dmg. Lvl 4: Machine guns shoots 2 types of bullets; slower moving circles, and fast moving tiny arrows. Large bubbles with arrows spawn. Shooting through these turns them to higher dmg large arrows. ALSO, these bubbles BLOCK enemy projectiles (shields). Also, another version of the arrow bubble is one that has rotating saws (just a picture), that when inside it, slows down; allowing you to stay inside it for a long time. Lvl 5: Attack speed & dmg upgrade with more spread. --- (The best lvl 5 item- high dps, spread, and shields)
It's funny as hell when people say no one has posted the machine gun descriptions. This is because ShoryuKano already did it. I commented on the only thing he left out, lancer. Apparently no one rated the machine gun description up, so now it is missing from the top comments section. Too bad, cause that was the best weapon.
After trying all of the weapons I would say from best to worst: machine gun (arrow bubbles double as shields from attacks), homing missile (massive dps plus some combos), lancer (weak dps), shuriken (no range)
Seeing as how the description of the lancer was not commented, I'll do it.
Level 1: a thin rapid firing lance
Level 2 : a thin rapid firing piercing lance (stronger)
Level 3 : a thin rapid firing piercing lance that afflicts 3 second burn damage (stronger)
Level 4: a kamehameha like piercing flamethrower (massive attack speed) with 3 sec burn (stronger), its about as wide as your unit
Level 5: same thing as level 4 but with an even wider kamehameha flamethrower
I managed to beat 4 - 03 by saving my units and the items and not spamming them all at once. If you send enough units that cause your bombers to stay in your circle your good. Once they go off, your dead. So the trick is to send just enough units not all of them. Then when the super wave comes, send the rest of your units and you will win since your units have the aura boost. I beat 4 - 03 with only 4 upgrades on bombers and none on turtles.
Wow I can't beat 4 - 03 (green stage). I keep getting complete worthless ice and weak fire. And half the time I die instantly because I do not get a tank unit in time.
TIP: Rhinos rule, seriously do not get any range units as ghost will completely destroy them. Poison is so dam awesome, cost only 5 mana (or 2 with max masteries) and you can spam them. Trigger the ghost's invisibility at the beginning and spam poison at everything. A ghost with 1 hp (or half for those giant ones) is not much of a threat for a rhino that is reinforcing your team.
Got the hard badge (it was annoying since I HAD NO ICE RESIST against those ice knights, they did 120dmg per hit LOLOL). Tip, rise your damage stat and some wisdom. The shield is so dam cost effective when everything hits 50+ damage. It's so dam cost effective since 4 points into wisdom grants me an extra shield per fight.
