Um....I reached level 25 or 26 cant remember on the mystery dungeon, entered the next level down on the stairs and have encountered a bug....a really weird one...the screen rotates with hundreds of pictures of each individual image from the game. Ie one second there is a screen of mushrooms, then another second its a screen full of silver bars etc....um....its making my head hurt :(
Anyone else get that feeling after watching the screen and buttons going 'down' for a long time that your eyes think that afterwards, everything appears to be going 'up' ? Or are my eyes weird? :P
This is very buggy, for me, after a few days, it goes into 'frames' and only shows action for a few seconds. It jutters and the sound stops working. Makes the game completly unplayable, very much a shame.
This game tries my patience, Ive have played the first six chapters of this game three (and some of them) four times. The save function does not work regardless of what I try. I am pretty sure it is not my error here. Sigh, this is one of the few games I dont have a problem with playing it over and over, but....this takes the mick.
I will agree with those below, the save function is *still* flawed and the badge detection is non-existant.
Other then that the game is just as good as always, I feel it may get stale after a while, just by adding in a new unit here or there, you may want to think about making some big changes if this is a series you plan to continue.
once you have everything unlocked, and way more nukes then you will ever need, it becomes a complete luck game on whether or not you can make it to 3mil or not....sigh...2.99mil....grrr
The level with the pillars and the generator, 11 or 12 I think....is that a case of quick mashing of the keyboard buttons, or is there another way to do it that I'm missing.
I really dont want to look at a walkthrough, but can someone point me in the right direction?
The reliance on luck in the early stages of the game makes this very hard to get into, sure you learn to overcome it later but that I feel is not justifiable in the beginning. Not going to lie, didnt find this too enjoyable 3/5.
This is quite a good game but, it has been done before and it seems there has been little effort to change it much, the similarities to, for example the facebook Traveller IQ is so striking (the two flags for a start). Also, the opening levels have the weirdest difficulty, sometimes it is so easy and sometimes very challenging, and even if you do make it past the really challenging first few, the level 7 and 8 ones then become easy....and were not talking about 'its easy if you know the answers' its more like, where is Dublin, Ireland, um...hang on shouldnt that be in lvl 1?
Very good game, I'm someone that appreciate games even if they arent brilliant at them or aren't usually into them, which is the case. I have had a problem with saving, and unfortunately its really detered me. Similarily the calvery is a bit too strong especially if your henchmen are terrible at blocking. 4/5
