There's something immensely satisfying when you just see all those bombs go off and create a large chain reaction. A fairly good game, but was a little disappointed when I saw levels where there were just a few boxes floating around.
"Come sit on Santa's lap children, or else you'll be devoured by Shadowdemons!!!"
"Now that I can't gain any bonuses from rescuing you children being at the final shadowdemon, I'll leave your fate up to them ho ho ho!"
Just doesn't seem like there's much randomness, and the speed is pretty slow. Would be nice if the background had a little more to it. Also it would be cool if there were more unique choices of upgrades. Rocket/double rocket/jet pack are all pretty much the same. Some different stuff like dolphin + glider. You don't seem afraid to mention a thing like steroids, so why not make that a unique interactive part of the game?
Personal opinion, but the option to redo levels for coins would be nice.
I don't like losing the coin that I saved up because I left the screen for another link.
To save your companion simply stay in the room where your companion was downed and Save and Quit then Continue from where you left off, your companion should be good to go.
+ this so others will know to do this!!
How do you save your companion? Is it time-specific, like 3-5 seconds? because I don't see the option to save my companion, and I've been pressing g to try and save her. :/
Just the right amount of challenge where I didn't want to pull my hair out, and got a sense of accomplishment when those straggling goblins finished razing the village to get me a gold medal. I was expecting some sort of conclusion at the end after finishing the last area, and getting all gold medals.
Great game! Something that I think would make it even better; try and synch the relationship of Deuce and the other characters throughout the storyline with the cafe dialogue.
I talked with Mare, I believe it was the first time, when it was near the end of the game and it seemed like Deuce and Mare were like at the beginning of the game, like they hardly talked at all.
The conversations were enlightening and nice, but it seemed like you had two separate "trees" of dialogue, one for the cafe and one for the storyline.
The three little pigs each built their own house to protect themselves from the wolf. The first one built it of wood, but the great siege engine threw rocks at it and the house was no more. The second one built it of stone, but the great siege engine threw groups of three rocks at it and the house was no more. The last house was built of stone, wood, and reinforced metal and set up in such a way that were the rocks to hit it that only so many of the pigs would die. The great siege engine tried its hardest throwing combinations of bombs, rocks, and groups of three rocks, but eventually gave up because it realized that bombs are more like fire crackers.
I had what seemed to be like a great defense going on the second castle when it hit around the 12th wave and my towers started getting slaughtered. I had upgraded a dragon like 5 times...and then I had to start replacing things that were like 3x worse than what got destroyed. I had a lot of bones that I wasn't using because my defense was working out so well...if I could have used those to upgrade some of my other defenses or to do something like prevent my defenses from getting destroyed I would have been all for it.
