Needs to be harder. Only time it becomes challenging is when the player spaces out a bit because the game isn't hard enough to fully hold their attention. Bosses are chumps, need more complex movement and firing patterns.

no life bar/shields and one hit = death is pretty old-fashioned, but it doesn't make this game any less addicting. Definitely agree with Fizzmaister's comment about putting enemies on top layer.

Here's a little trick for level 2, for those having difficulty: hit the ball into the dirt. Try to hit above where the ball's going a bit. It's easier to do than swinging for home runs - for that, you have to swing below where the ball's going to be, and that's harder to do. By hitting it into the dirt, you get an easy hit and avoid having the ball fielded for an out.

Okay. So like, you get the dumpster dive, and a subterranean dragon shows up. You get the hangglider, and King Kong shows up. What's the point of that again? Something shows up to screw you every time you get something really cool.

Cool, but there's no reason autofire shouldn't be automatic. Having to buy it adds nothing to the game but making it frustrating (and hard on the hands) for the first minute or so.

I played this ages ago and decided to try it again. I'd forgotten how stupid hard lvl 2 is compared to like, the next six levels. Srsly, out of the first eight levels, level two is the hardest. Kinda strange. But a lot of fun once you do get past level 2.

Game has issues. Claws don't seem to grab smaller enemies sometimes - no, this is not my aim, this is the claws going straight through enemies - and the carriers have a tendency to run off the stage map, becoming impossible to see and difficult to attack - yet still able to disgorge enemies. Also, why do you take so much damage from running over gunners? They're fleshy meatsacks and you're a giant robot! Problems and weird stuff aside, fun, addicting game.
