"Odd. This is the green land of rabbits and liars." Do I detect an "Alice is Dead Pt. 3" reference? There are many reasons to love this game, and THAT is one of them! A major "Inception" moment; looking at that painting is like looking into a dream from within another one. Trippy, lol. Awesome game, sir.
:D Yeah, Alice is Dead was a real joy to work on, and I figured since these games were similar it'd be cool to but an easter egg in it. Thanks so much for the kind words and support, stay cool. :D
This made me LOL. What's even funnier is that half of these complaints are written so badly they make your in-game text seem faintly intelligent. I'm surprised Kong let you guys put this up. Still, some people shouldn't take it SO seriously, as if it's the most outrageous thing since Facebook's constant upgrading.
"For Mercy has a human heart; Pity, a human face; And Love, the human form divine; And Peace, the human dress." Every single instance of text is a poem. Beautiful script, great game. 5 Stars + Fave.
Beautiful music; delicate, yet meaningful and strong, with even falls and inclinations, and dramatic rifts that drastically changed the mood. It really took me deep within the game's tone and message. Whichever way you interpret it, the ending is still bittersweet; the metaphors, to me, were signs of a lifetime spent conveying a love that is cherished, or acknowledged, beyond death. The dove represents hope and new beginnings, and flies away as the girl realizes this, tying in the two popularized interpretations above. Her turning around at that moment after he'd faded away, tells me that her realization came too late, and now she is only left with memories (hence her looking back), or that she'd felt his presence there and the action is her reminiscing about said memories. 5 Stars + <3
Beautiful artwork, as usual. I came here after playing your "Trader of Stories" instalment (which I'm still hoping to see an expansion of! :3) and am really into what your talents bring to the whole "Point-and-Click" game experience. Four stars; I felt a little goofy not knowing where to go, but enjoyed the haunting tunes and lovely illustrations.
Attractive and Charismatic with Schwarzenegger-class Strength. This game pays homage to the old proverb: "The good die young." I "lived" to the age of 70. Great game :)
I will be eagerly awaiting a sequel, or perhaps a remake of the same concept but with a different mythological creature; for example, a Golem, whose elemental affiliations and alignments you can determine through the same actions seen in this game. Or, for a completely different spin, a Gryphon/Griffin, Sea Monster, an Elemental Nymph or faerie, heck, maybe even a Unicorn. The possibilities are endless. I love the RPG element to this and would definitely buy it, if it were on a mainstream platform like PlayStation or XBox. It kind of reminds me of Fable. 5 Stars + <3 :)
*goes deaf from the music while listening to YouTube on another tab* O_O Once I got into the game I began to appreciate the pretty tunes and all was forgiven, lol. It'd be nice to have the option to toggle it on/off, though.
First played this game on Mochi. Laaaaaarrrve it! I don't think there's any real strategy to beating that last boss; it's all luck o' the cubes, really. What helped, for me, was training them up until all stat's were maxed out and then moving on to the second to last boss (Goo one), and spamming it for a while (2-3 rounds won). Cute animations, fluid transitions - even with multiple items being triggered simultaneously - clever use of the statistical aspect, and a great spin on this traditional puzzle game. Keep doling out the goods, fellas. Faved, fived and frequented :)
