I like a double-ability maxed ranged archer that does 10 damage each hit. It makes hit-and-run tactics much much easier. With 5 moves when facing enemy mages, you can move 3 and fire, then move back 2 spaces and out of enemy sight. Repeating tactics will ensure you won't get hit, but I like to send a soldier out there to go kamikaze and finish the job.
By the way, I kind of wanted the alternate ending to be much more "epic." Like all the snails would celebrate a party with you, you go with the sun snail on a brand new quest and find the inner hero in you. And then end with a super happy finale. I am pleased by the entire gameplay, nevertheless, that the second ending actually hardly bothered me at all. :)
There are actually 30 shells that you have to collect. You can collect them all just before facing the actual final boss, to get the alternate ending of course. I often like to shoot around the entire perimeter of the room with the final weapon whenever I can, and if that doesn't work, I crawl around the perimeter of the room with gravity snail, which is guaranteed almost a near find for all secrets your second or third time around.
One of the more enjoyable hard badges that I had earned. It's nice to go 20x, because once that is achievable and you are on the run for about 20 secs or so, game decided. Rock on!
That moment too when you go on Coral and realize everything you were supposed to do was supposed to be done backwards, and then recognizing that your brain seems to naturally adjust to it... that was the scariest moment I never would have anticipated my brain would be capable of doing, but yet it did! To open up your hidden capabilities.... your mad genius skills, made me go lol and go O_O at the same time. That, and realizing that your body is stronger than your head.
After about the fourth or fifth retry on the same stage, you will begin to realize that each time you try to earn money, you get less and less. My advice is that if you do get a perfect on one stage really pretty late in the game, I highly highly recommend you to do it at least three more times for the additional cash. Otherwise, you'll end up grinding and kicking yourself in this game for hours on end. (Not that I don't mind it's replay value, of course.)
Reminds me of the time when I went to the aquarium, babysitting a little girl named Marissa. I tell her: "This is why you should never pet whales..." *Watches this whale engulf a seagull from mid-air* o_o
The box had its head banged to the side while falling down and didn't bother to wake up. If the box were to be a human being instead, I'm pretty sure she would be screaming her head off right about now, throwing her blanket out the window and probably get rushed to the hospital (in severe cases, yes). ~_~ :D
Completed Level 5-19, decided to go slow in spamming the archers and the next thing I noticed I was leveling up faster than a person could ever do on their way to Level 200 on MapleStory. Hehe! Take that, Nexon! >:D
By the way, for some bosses I had to go and spam mice before a rhino or a dragon. Gets the soccer guy kicking unnecessary junk for once. >:D Food regen was way too high enough, could afford it.
