Games lags ferociously. The guns get worse as you buy them. Only the assault rifle proved the exception and you cant change weapons that I could see. Lastly On the second stage Papa smurf is instant death AND shoots you behind obstacles.
Game has major lag issues that need to be addressed in order for it to be playable. I have lost all of my 15 piranha cause of slowdown then my fish seem to teleport and BAM I am in the mouth of croc. Or the ship I was TRYING to break wouldnt break cause I wasnt hitting it and then all my fish are in the rotor getting turned into red mist. Lastly if the croc can still eat you and the rotor can still kill you in 1 hit apiece what is the point of upgrading scales?
Day 11 near full health, breastplate equipped, Katana equipped, Divine edge coming up, Golden ticket right behind it.......... screeching halt as a dragon makes his appearance. The dragons are still impossible to kill without the divine edge and putting 1 right BEHIND the dragon wasn't rubbing salt in the wound, it was covering my whole body in open cuts then dumping me in a barrel full of salt and closing it. In any case, I am getting further so some of the tweaks made some difference.
I just want to meet the individual whom first conceptalized the crumbling platform. Then I would like to showcase my extreme displeasure with the concept by covering him in honey and tying him down on a fireant hill.
Hold your power attack for as long as you can before you release it. If his timer shows 200 wait until it is down to 30 or so. It only took me 3 power attacks to kill him this way. Before that I would just do a quick or semi power attack and lost every time. Good luck I hope this helps.
Here is how I killed him. I never once bothered blocking since the spinning attack he does only hurts you when you are very close to him. As soon as the fight starts run in do your 3 hit combo and IMMEDIATELY follow it up with a quick charge attack when he goes into recovery mode. Each time you hit him with power attack his recovery mode lasts longer and longer. After that just keep running at him trying to get into melee. If he does the spinning attack just RUN into it. It wont hurt you. If he yells and pushes you back run into him again. At least do these until you are in melee range and he is doing his normal sword attacks. This is when you get your 3 hit combo and knock him back into recovery mode. You will not always get all 3 hits on him. Just persevere. However the real trick is to max your power attack. When ever he is in recovery mode.
For those of you having trouble with levels 5 and 6. You need to use power attack which is triggered by holding down while pressing the Z key. The longer you hold it, the harder it hits. This will break the rocks on stage 5 and is crucial to killing the level 6 boss.
After getting to level 7 without getting past day 5 if I even made it that far I find that I can not in good conscience give this game a good rating. The game is enjoyable for what it is. Pleasant to look at and a simple yet compelling game game play design. However the game is 100% luck and therefore completely random which I have seen a lot of complaints over so this won't be news to any one.
Remove some of the randomness from the game and give us something to fulfill the supposed RPG element of the game and you will find yourself in possession of a good game. As prolonging a gaming experience through repeated and unavoidable failures is not my idea of a good time.
Relaxed mode. 50 days in. Madagascar starting point..... Fully infected. Rest of the world completely safe and oblivious. The way I figure it the damned place must be heaven on Earth cause in all 50 days not one ship has left the island. So much for relaxed mode being easier.....
Bonus maps need a bit of tweek. They are quite a bit harder than the other maps. Also it would be nice if we had stats on the trees so we can measure speed vs power, more importantly it would be there to decide if it is better to use more trees or higher level ones.
A few suggestions I might add is to change the soul system a bit. It takes far too long to build souls up and whats worse is just playing through the game NOT grinding out levels and still leveling past the enemies and no longer getting souls.
Second suggestion is you might want to tone done the shrine bonuses a bit. Once you get the shrine blueprints it is no longer necessary to have any other building aside from the ones that give you more troop options. Doing over 20k with army of the dead and killing pretty much anything in 1 or 2 turns with no grinding and without even finishing the main game let alone a new game plus seems a bit overpowered.
Tone down levels 28 and 29. Or at the very least give us some hotkeys. You are overloaded with enemies way too fast to deal with click lag and the low starting mana. It is extremely hard getting situated in such a small amount of time. These levels are completely out of proportion to the rest of the game.
Dodge rank 5, Headshot rank 5, and concentration do not reduce Jim Peterson's ability to hit Marco. Making it all but impossible to kill him with Marco on Hard. This needs to be addressed. I have tried every combination of point allocation and all to no avail. I can kill him with Last Flake so I am not stuck. However I still think this needs to be checked out.
I am sure this question has been asked before a few times. However I think my game may have bugged. I am missing the 5th flower. I have opened every single chest outside of the black hole meaning I have the medal for every area. These chests include the secret area's pre reaper. I have completed every side quest except 2. and I need the flower to complete the last 2. I have looked up the locations of each flower and there is no way I could have the achieves and not have found all 5. I have been in the vegetable forest secret area several times. So unless a flower was needed in an upgrade I didn't pay attention to it isn't in my game.
