I like the game, it has a pretty solid foundation, but progress slows down to a crawl too quickly IMO. Would love to see another prestige layer and improvements to the mid game pacing, but without such updates I probably won't stick around long.

Since Kong is dying and not allowing new uploads anymore, I suggest you release it (if that's even possible anymore) and work on improving it while it's public, since soon noone will look for new game uploads here anymore
When I'm in Tax+ and go into No Shards, the first worker I buy produces nothing and I'm stuck. The Multiplier/Acellerator-- challenge also is stuck the same way right after starting it.
Hiring assistants is way too expensive. Combined with the massively nerfed prestige gain (it's not in the patch notes, maybe it was unintentional? thought I'd make you aware ;p) it's now 3x as much of a clickfest to get anywhere. Better work on adding more layers of prestige and automating the repetitive stuff after we've progressed beyond it than slowing progress and increasing repetitiveness.
My save data is lost... I'm back to 1 Ghoul, no expansions, no gems. Are there no cloud saves and it can just be locally wiped for whatever reason? Didn't clear cache or anything like that either.
Well, I didn't make manual back ups so if it can't be recovered I guess that's it for me. May this serve as a heads up for those who care to make regular manual exports.
Damn. Sorry to hear it. This will happen if your browser's "local storage" gets wiped for whatever reason - that's an area, similar to cookies, where the game stores its save data. While the Steam version has cloud saves, Kongregate unfortunately doesn't have an API I can hook into for that, meaning adding cloud saves here is a much more involved process where I'd have to securely store the saves myself and write all of the code to handle it. This is something I plan to do in the future, but it will be very time-consuming, so I've paused it in favor of some of these other features and content additions for now.
Since PoW has been introduced, unlocking card slots is not working properly for me. I usually can't unlock slots by the time I have the needed resources, clicking does nothing for up to ~10-15 secs after I have the needed resources, sometimes a bit faster. The resources it uses once it finally works are subtracted correctly then. Using Opera if that matters.
Tier 2 cards in the Underworld seem hardly worth it. Unless they get buffed across the board I suggest going for lvl3 Tier 1 cards then save up for tier 3 and just completely ignore tier 2 packs until much later like when you need a fish for the iron cats.
CPU and memory use is unreal for me using chrome. Right after opening the game window without even playing, the tab in which it is active uses up 1GB RAM and if the game window is on screen CPU usage caps out at 25%, the max a browser tab is allowed to use on my system.
Autosave stopped working about 3 hours ago and now after refresh the game also can't find/load my save. Now it started to make a new save without any hero or quest built. For some reason it remembered 2 prestige points from my run (should have more). Was forced to prestige like this now, without any heroes and a losing half of the progress I made last run.
