A good example of why we use computers to do the trajectory for our missiles in real life. Because they don't miss. It's not a lot of fun matching the computation power of an inerrant computer with the calculator in my head and not even knowing the exact gravitational value of the objects in play.
I tried the train. I went to 3 different locations which were apparently just very large player owned towns. There wasn't anything I could do in any of them so I just wandered around for approximately 45 minutes. You really are forced to go into areas that were swarmed with XRex's and, I think, a Blood Orphan to mine and try to do anything because the other mines and areas legitimately have monster that can easily destroy you. Maybe expand tutorial island? Or create a train location that allows you there when under X days? And a far more thorough post island guide of "What do I do now?" would make for a lot less aimless wandering and a higher retention rate. I realize the craptacular stunts of high level (as far as I can tell) aren't *always* the norm, so I will be giving it a couple more tries.
Another example of a game with a LOT of potential completely ruined by several high level players that get great joy out of killing noobs. Would have probably played quite a lot if I had been able to survive out of the main city (docks) for more than 15 seconds without being killed by the most powerful creature in the game.
You don't just press the mouse button. You have to press is on the mushroom guy or his podium. This is useful information so that people don't spend their whole first time through thinking the game doesn't work. Which, frankly was the only way I'd play it more than once. It's just not really that fun.
@Vigi: why do you assume he can't read? just because the author gave an excuse does not make the game actually work does it? the fact of the matter is, a blank screen is no fun, and that IS what he has uploaded. Totally worthless. 1/5.
The spinning floor makes me mildly nauseous. And I think you mean it has mobs and NPCs not moobs and NPCs. Moobs are something completely different than an RPG character. Although I guess a character could have moobs.
@toomuchdistance is it spelled with an S because someone doesn't know how to spell or because it's root is the latin defensum. Learn to not make ignorant snap judgments.
Not sure if it is a bug, but I have everything almost maxed out, but now I need to send everything immediately to make expert score. Even on the first level I just clicked the send button until they were all out and only managed to get 1276/1100. So if I had waited on any of them, I would have lost. Great game otherwise. Needs some polish, but one of the best TD games I've played.
I've got to wonder what game you've ever played where 's' was jump. I keep hitting up to jump and avoid arrows, which would be standard in almost every game where left and right arrows go left and right, but this only sends me teleporting backwards into the arrow. Major suck-ti-tude. If that were fixed, it'd be a pretty enjoyable game. A couple spelling issues, but kudos.
