Great tutorial, it's very much needed. I'm not sure about everyone else, but it seems sort of slow on the part with the enemies. Is there a reason why? And is that likely to happen in my own game?
The issue with the in-tutorial game is two-fold: First, it's a game inside of a tutorial, so there are more things going on at once, which increases lag. The second issue is that since I need to be able to create and destroy the game, my "tiles" are actually actors, which also increases lag. Thus, you can assume that it won't nearly be as bad in your own game; a game of the size in the tutorial made "correctly" should run perfectly on even slow computers.
This game makes me think of pong. I don't know much about programming. But based on the Stencyl tutorials, I think you need to make an if statement for the end of the game message. But I'm not sure how you would connect that with the dust.
I agree with Katzazi. This kind is pretty boring and repetitive. Also if you're trying to appeal to young girls you might want to add a bit more variety. Maybe add the option to make cookies, cupcakes and/or brownies.
Never mind, just found out you can pick from the bottom of the stack. :/ Although I'd still like to have several plates out at one time so I can work on them.
I find it odd to believe that Dave is either dead or imaginary. Because when you do the "Identification" mission you see Dave's handwriting assignment in the stack with everyone else. Although I didn't check the date of Dave's assignment I noticed he underlines his name. o_O
Is it not good to play this game while on Internet Explorer? Because I'm having problems with the controls. Sometimes he doesn't move at all or he'll keep going the same direction when I push a different key. :/ (maybe that's why people rate it low? o_O) Either way I'll try on a different browser and see if that helps. This definately looks like a good game.
