I like the game. I've played the same game with friends before (on paper). The difference when we play is that if you send the opponent to a board that was already claimed, they still play in that board rather than being able to play anywhere. That adds another layer of strategy because you need to avoid being sent to a dead board.
I definitely think the concept of this game is interesting. The game is somewhat charming. I enjoy the theme of a desktop on a computer and computer programs. I also enjoy that there are upgrades in this game. The game could definitely use some work though. Th only thing you can do in this game is smash bugs, which gets boring after a while. Have you considered maybe adding more minigames in the form of in-game purchasable apps? For example, I could use my money from smashing bugs to get a Pong game or something. This game is interesing and if you were to expand on this idea, Im sure yyou could make a pretty good game.
Any idea when the next update will come out? I've already conquered the world once and now I'm just working on every achievement. I like this game and don't want to 100% it this soon T-T
tman, check the "game news" under the "game" tab to the right of the actual game. It has all the update news and mentions a bug with offline gains. It will be hopefully be fixed in the next update.
Under Kingdom Overview, perhaps under Misc. Total Gold /s should be renamed Total Gold from Economy /s and add "Total Gold /s" but make it a combination of "Total Gold from Country /s" and "Total Gold from Economy /s". Currently, Total Gold /s is just the gold from buildings only and it was slightly confusing to me at first when I noticed conquering new countries didn't increase my total gold /s.
Well if I combined it with total gold from countries then you wouldn't know what the total gold from economy was. Regardless, it's a simple text change and will be made for the next update! ~Taiga
Maybe there could be bonuses for taking a whole continent, like a percentage increase in gains for the countries in that continent. I'm kind of borrowing this idea from Risk, but it does make it a little more satisfying when you have a whole continent under your control. Also, maybe when you take a country it should be renamed Touria (considering it is now part of Touria) and the border between countries owned by Touria should be erased. It's just a way of seeing your progress of world domination a little clearer on the map.
It was impossible to balance it. People created a metagame where they ignored other troop producing buildings and just built up Cathedral. If I lowered the troop gains from the Cathedral, it would have generated comment complaints 5 times a minute so we removed troop gains and made it gold producing. This lets you put more money into troop structures anyways so it works better.
The lag seems slightly better than it was earlier, but it doesn't matter what browser I use. This game ran very smoothly before the update. Firefox is my preferred browser. I really enjoy this game and hope you can figure out the lag issues.
Is anyone else experiencing a lot of lag? I'm having a bit of trouble playing this game. I had no issues before the update, now I can't even play the game because it's lagging (on top of my computer already being slow)
Please hold on. I am running some wattage testers and FPS readers to try to identify what is causing the lag. I promise I won't leave it like this for too long. ~Taiga
Nice graphics, and not many glitches in the game. Maybe you could add more items to throw. Also, the controls for looking around are too sensitive, and the character continues to look around even if the mouse isn't on the game screen. Maybe some light-hearted music would be nice too. You also might want to make more realistic phyics. The balls don't seem to be affected by gravity at all and it is somewhat strange.
I feel like this game needs a way to rid of the effects of a red ball, or just change the red ball's effect to taking away a point rather than negating the whole level because I find it incredibly irritating that I cannot pass a level just because I hit a red ball. Level 13 is hard enough trying to get 10 balls, but trying not to hit a red ball makes it nearly impossible. The purple balls really need to count towards the total because they are pointless otherwise.
Oh and you should probably fix how the cubes act when they touch a wall or corner. They freak out when they go into the corner when I expect that they will collide with the wall and fit in the corner like a good little cube.
This is similar to your first game, but I do like these cubes much more in the fact that I can pick them up and place them. You should integrate this into your first game. Make it so that you can toggle between cubes and balls. Maybe add a menu to change between all kinds of shapes, like balls, cubes, pyramids, etc. Also add a tools menu for the tool to pick up and place things, the explosion tool, maybe a suction tool. What about a tool to change their color. There is a lot you can do with this game. I do love these cubes though and suggest you combine this game and your first because they would be a lot better if they were combined. Nice job!
This game is definitely amusing, but I think you should add the ability for him to go backwards with the down arrow. Also, the game begins to lag more as I progress farther. Maybe you should make the creatures shoot less bullets, but make the bullets do more damage. Also, a lot of times the creatures end up running to the wall and shooting the wall, making it too easy to eat them. Level 8 and 9 are kind of ridiculous because all of the creatures home in on omii. The game is good though. The addition of sound effects and some technical fixes would make the game a little better. Overall, good job!
