This card game is great for it circle counter effect. You have always a card to counter one another.
There is some how a lot of way to improve this game. First would be to personalise your "deck" (for that you need to write a bunch of rule). Then there is really not enough card to remove sanity or magic arcane boost (something like the dispelling card). Extending the card hand max + don't always force to play 1 card each turn.
I completly love this game (missing only 1 gold star on the montain boss map and got 7 platinium). There is one things that miss: a way to skip cinematic. It's just annoying when you try improving one boss level and you are always forced to see the cinematic.
With the Horse campaign, you need gold in a good amount for starter and then being able to use regulary worms (2 off them = 1 castel down). Build 2 units (one in each castel) and kill the 2 giants to get the treasure. With this, you sould be able to build some mana stone and unit as needed (with a few house). take down first the castel between your 2 castel then the rest lie in your hand:
1) cast the worms spell, bring 1/2 unit to finish the work
2) heal your unit and go to the next one.
I would also add that conquering a castel should bring you gold.
Ressource wise:
- house/farm are most of the time useless since castle can give you some
- gold mine can help on the long run, you don't need them a lot since castle can supply + treasure chest give you most of the money needed
- Mana Stone = key construction in order to cast quickly your first spell and take down the first castle after killing a geant in order to have money
I don't have much suggestion here. Mainly because changing it will change your developpement and thus the time need to bring down castle. Maybe lowering the unit creation but increase the computer unit creation.
Time durability:
There is no hard mode ? No bigger map with empty castle forcing your to plan your unit movement on the long run and increase sensibility your number unit created.
I hope that will help you improve this game (I loved Cursed Treasure)
I saw the power of long range army. 2 units: 1 melee + long range = enough to take down any castle. You just need to cast 1 spell at the right time in order to remove opposition. And in order to archieve the perfect you will probably build less than 6 units (alive + dead one). On the positive note, time to reach perfect can be hard (for Icedale or Westaria)
No building skill. I mean you never need to upgrade your castle but only to follow this:
- build a unit able to take down a giant and go get treasure
- with the 500 gold build: 1 Mana stone, 1 melée/ranged unit to complement the first castle (valuable ressource)
- heal your unit and go take down the next castle
This is event more obvious with the Red Horse campaing where you can complete the last quest on less than 4 minutes using the worm/horse + CPU lack of counter mesure.
So I suggest a hard mode with a more counter style when creating unit + a bigger map (so let time to expand and force you to upgrade your castle)
Feature missing (more detailled in the 3 following post):
- a hard mode with a more counter cycle coming from the CPU + bigger map with empty castle.
- upping the value of upgrading a castle (with is a lost of gold to build unit)
- a multiplayer mode with all 4 clan
- More units needed to bring down castle
Is there a way to get out off Candy land and see the famous last scenery Burrito crashing in shop and paying for his purchase ?
I haven't fully upgraded but tried a bunch of things (and having the passing door skill fully upgraded):
- passing the steel door while being a candy coton (doesn't seem to work)
- passing the steel door while my pant is on fire (so at top speed and it's not enough)
Does it mean we need to have nyan cat while passing the steel door ?
Thanks for the detailed review!
