Reasonably fun game. I can even live with the incessant popups; that's how the devs make their living and kudos to the whales who feed them. But It is really frustrating to lose hard earned game currency and inventory. Twice now, in the span of just a couple days I've come back to the game to find (1st time) 150 rubys missing and (2nd time) 4 Hearths missing, including two which had been unlocked (2:00:00 build time a piece). That latter wouldn't be so frustrating >if< there weren't the silly builder cap; only two builders and stupidly long build times means a huge bottle neck to game play and a big set back to lose ~6hrs build time, (including the build time to get to Hearth...). It also doesn't instill confidence to actually spend money on the game to just see it evaporate.
Fun but a bit repetitive after a while. I played until stage 10, then took a break. Came back later and....., progress not saved; have to start over from Stage 1. Is there any ending? Is it worth trying to play through to that ending in one session?
bit of a grind to get to character level 15. COnsidering this is such a milestone, it would be nice to get there with a little less grind then plateau there a bit. As it is I'm questioning whether I want to keep at it.
First impressions, 3.5 stars. Most of day into the game, already hitting the pay/power creep wall, I settle on 2 stars, (3 for game play, 1 for UI, 2 average). A few more hours in and I'm starting to think 1.5 stars might be more appropriate. I wonder how many more hours will merit an even lower rating.
I agree a relaxed mode without timer would be welcome. Even in its current state the scoring needs to be revised. I managed to clear all three stacks with 53 seconds remaining and still only scored 32000. I've had higher scores while completing with much less time left on the clock.
