I find the movement of the background and the character very annoying. Some of the normal looking guys look pretty much identical. Would be okay without the movement.
Pretty cool idea. Anytime you make a puzzle game though, definitely have a restart by pressing the R button. It would be nice to simply right click or something to clear one spot also.
My first impression wasn't great as I got to the last wave of the final level and nothing spawned leaving me shooting into the abyss. However, not bad, I enjoyed most of it and that problem never came back. Although, the longer I played, the more I realized that blood heal is way too overpowered. I could fully(or nearly) heal after about three or so kills, making it almost impossible to die as long as it was used intelligently. It felt the first spells were the best, didn't really think the long cool down of the higher skills really justified putting much into them until I was forced to. I'd also was hoping for the difficulty in endless to ramp up more, I got bored after 24 minutes. 3/5
Might be too many achievements... I completed both modes and still have 18 left. The game is pretty much the same as the first, but I felt this was a bit less grindy. I don't think the leader should be insta-killed by walking into a building. A tower surrounded by barbed wire should deal damage, and tanks/vehicles you could make a case for insta-death. Experience after becoming colonel should turn into gold to help people fund whatever else they need for survival mode. These enemy guys are close to perfection though, pop-up rocket turrets and napalm spewers I would make the patent holder quite a bit of money I bet! Not to mention the armor that makes them immune to air strikes! If they just spammed that I'd really be screwed.
Well, down to 1 star rating already. Any facebook game is instant -3 stars. No one should be waiting for energy on games outside of fb. I hate how the screen goes from a nice darker blue color, to bright colors like yellow on the loading screen. There is no reason to have open spaces on the story line, if it's an ambush, screw it just give it it's own square and get rid of the empty ones. Duels are not with people near your experience, I tried two... they had monsters well over 2k attack points and if I'm lucky I could get one there in two or three rounds. No thanks. I'm constantly being asked to look at the enemies deck in hopes you'll get a sale. AFTER EVERY ROUND, piss off! These are just my initial gripes. Can't imagine what I'd have to say after getting the badges.
Alternating between lightning and machine guns had little issue clearing levels. The bottom two were maxed for damage and the others for chain/speed on the last level. I just had an issue with the speed, the rounds feel like they take forever and I was bored of the game after level nine or so, for a game published on 2013 it would have to be recent so not having a speed up button is just using excuses. Especially "lags on slow computers"... it's should be an option meaning slower comps don't use it. Okay game overall, but there are loads of better tower defense games. 3/5
The grind to get the hard badge wasn't horrible, but I just did leave and go do other things leaving the monkey in the center of the screen to come back to more money. I understand you guys wanted to cater a bit to the completionists but there is a line someplace. I completed the game and wasn't even anywhere NEAR getting a max upgrade though everything was one below. I'd have to play round 5-5 at LEAST five more times just to get the CHEAPEST max dart upgrade. It doesn't just cross the line, but is catapulted over it. I will however, give you a lot of credit for the designs of the bloons and found them interesting and fun. I'll finish with my comment of "If I'm playing another game while also playing yours, something is wrong with your game."
