Idle games become dull without things to accomplish. Nothing has been added for those who have been playing a while in ages. I'm down to just checking in and buying more altars every week or so where I was playing daily when I had sometihng to accomplish. The last update was very weak for how long it took and all I got to do was talk to the npc and appearently take longer to conquer the world (never bothered to reset because of this). Yay.
Not sure I get it's popularity. Decent game, I've definately played worse... but a lot of things dull it down. Enemies can heal way too much, things like health shaman or paladin... fine I expect that but it seems like too many enemies can heal way too much for little focus penalty, which made for a lot of boring battles. It's lame for those players who didn't follow the skills in the bottom right will never be able to complete the bonus bosses. Lastly, the AI was horrible. Verduex rarely did what I wanted him to do when I needed him to do it. Would have been much better to control my own characters, as this also unneccesarily dragged out battles. The story seemed broken, "oh there's a main villian! Oh wait no he's dead." Little build up, no pay off.
Definately takes too long in critical areas to replenish your charges. There aren't a lot of these times, mainly phase two and four of the last boss. Dying quickly on these forms is pretty much a death sentence.
What the game needs to survive the flooded idle games market... 1. CONTINUE OFFLINE. 2. An import/export file feature to prevent lost saves. 3. An "ascention" or other method of starting the game over from the beginning but acquiring certain attack bonuses allowing one to go further quicker.
I don't feel anything sets this apart, like I've played its couterpart fifty times. Nice to see no energy system for those who do want to continue, but waiting for the chest to open after every single match is very annoying. Just give me the items and let me move on. Otherwise, from levels d return to playing again.
Definately an improvement over the first, and I have zero major complaints. The only ones I can make, is that auto-reading the plot books is a bit annoying when I have to walk passed it, but esc quickly removes it. Also, the game felt like it went on a bit too long, OR should have gone further with the demon that was built up in the story but done nothing with. Feels like a missed opportunity. The equipping process and it not being there when I want to forge is a bit cumbersome as well. Awesome play though! Definately worth a weekend!
Great game, but it isn't saving for me either despite following the instructions in your game description. I understand I can import/export, but I shouldn't be relying on this as my only save option. Wanted to play more, as it was fun. Bummer. 1/5
Like the game, only thing I would add is a way to give me the a code so I can import and export my game incase of sometihng happening. A lot of popular idles already have this feature.
Could be fun, but you've appearently ignored all of the game speed criticisms from the first game. You might have successfully made it slower. I find it hard to believe the person play testing this game throughout development said "Yes, this is a satisfactory game speed!"
Everytime I come to try the game it doesn't work. First tried a few months ago and it was stuck on the throne screen. Now, it asks me to make an account... fine... I did, put in the info, hit log in and it just refreshes the screen.
This may sound odd, but I don't like puzzles like this and I find them tedious. Nothing against the game itself though, I find the end results interesting, the menuts and board are all neat and clean, and I'd try harder if I enjoyed these. Anyway, thank you for putting a hint button in so it can mostly auto-solve slowly. =P
Should be fixed in 0.7.1, live now - please let me know directly if not! Thanks for reporting it.
