What the game really needs to more restrictions. If you've played previous bloons games, you'll find the same strategies work. If the same strats work, I'm not going to bother attempting something new because I might be wasting time if it doesn't. I want to be FORCED to try a new build (something other than ninja/gat) to do levels. I notice the two are rarely, if ever, exluded from a map together.
Since whether or not people will have the money to conquer a country is dependent on their gold spending habits, it is pretty near impossible to balance the costs of war. If you spend every gold you make the second you get it then of course you will not have enough for war. Plus the amount of troops and money you make depends on the amount of structures built and total dark knights there becomes so many varying factors. I will see how things play out once I begin working on the new conquest update. ~Taiga
Man... just loaded it and my computer is slowed to where I can barely drag the scroll bar down to look at comments. I know I'm in for a real treat when this happens...
Not all that entertaining. I have beaten the game and have no idea why some items can have gems placed in them and which can't. Speaking of which, why can I put two 5800 coin gems into one helm but the second just vanishes with no added effect although it clearly says "upgrade equipment"? All the armor felt pretty much the same, if you're going heavy regen like I did the game is easy until near insta-death traps. The boss fights were lame, walk passed it, shoot in until you're obigated to walk passed it again... repeat. Then the dragon there's a respawn point to remove any difficulty. It's okay at best for a one time play through, but nothing I would bother getting all the in game acheivements for.
Man, once you learn that 2x crystal is better than 5 or 10x crystal you get stuff that destroys the game. I went from thoughts of "man, this game is grind heavy." at the beginning to "Wow, these thunder weapons are WAY overpowered." It seems like a better balance could fit someplace.
Could you add a slidebar to iris to give me the option of where I want to start? For example if I have the ability to start at up to 100 but can set it to 50 or any point lower than that max.
okay launch game. Didn't blow me away or anything. I didn't really understand why he needed to jump when using weapons but it almost makes the recover from pit upgrade pointless. I'll reinforce the lag issues in the final third of the game, it might be a good idea to make rats quite spawning at some point to help with so many things moving on the screen. The only other thing I didn't like is I hate when games give you a respin, such as winning a coin by using a coin. It's a waste of time. That being said, the rest of the game was alright, and the upgrades aside from speed were useful and not overdone. If this is your first launch game I'd say it's pretty good and would like to see how you handle a sequel.
Game was not responding with chrome... worked fine on torch though. Comments are a making the game look awesome but left the game with a "meh" attitude. There were no challenges, just match the button with the lines which is something i'd find in one of those highlights books.
Still has the feel of the others, but some of the sections were just lame and not needed. For example the boat section and the jet section were just pointless and just looked like too much was trying to be added without any thought into those sections. Otherwise, the game played well, but overall... meh.
Shock and awe would have really benefitted from enemies slowly taking damage until death when they are pushed outside the play area. The smaller ships don't seem to have much problem navigating back in but the capital ships have a very difficult time.
