Interesting little puzzle game, but it needs some polishing. Also, it is quite upsetting to have to start over from the very beginning in case you loose 1 challenge.
Thanks for the response @JEXELIX! ^^ Precisely, I used the arrow keys to play because it was the least worst solution on my AZERTY keyboard. But doing so is uncomfortable for right-handed people because both hands end up on the right side of the computer (Left hand on arrow keys, Right hand on the mouse). As a matter of fact, one of the reasons most games offer the options WASD or ArrowKeys is so that the player can keep the mouse in his dominant hand when the mouse is necessary to play. A right-handed person with an AZERTY keyboard need the option to change the key bindings from WASD to ZQSD in order to play with ease. Have a nice day! ;)
Thank you for this suggestion Talia29, I will definitely take it into consideration if I decide to introduce an update to this game. Unfortunately at the moment I cannot change the game while the competition it was made for is in the 'voting phase'. You have a nice day too!
Original and interesting concept! But this game could be improved control-wise. Throwing the torch with the Lclick is a bit tedious to master. An option to change in-game controls would be nice too. Playing this game on an Azerty keyboard is not very practical. I look forward to an update. Keep up the good work!
Factories should be upgradeable in order to increase production time. As it is, just 1 (sometimes 2) fully upgraded cart is enough per material. The only challenge is to build the shortest delivery circuits with the minimum upkeep while avoiding traffic congestion. Shortcuts can be found between rocks, I didn't use any waypoint and I smashed the fast forward button. My High Score is 2,764,954, it can be surpassed, especially by trying to find more fitting circuits in the last levels. This game is good but could be better with a few tweaks.
Don't down vote a game so much because it's a demo. Some demos give more playing time than a lot of little full version games(which are rated 3 or 4 stars) here on Kong. EigerTroll is wrong, there's not 1 level only, but 8 levels playable. This game is quite good!
A really cute and addictive game! The challenge is well balanced. I was frustrated the 1st 10min, but it made me run after a highscore for a few hours, good job!
"Look at that... She's at it again! Gimme a minute, Bill... -HEY! NICKY! STOP THAT! Always picking up fights with everyone, huh?! You're the pain in the a$$ of our indie company! Give Red some peace and go back to WORK!- ...Sorry, Bill, she's such a troublemaker. There's even a rumor here that she's a terrorist! But I can't fire the person that made DINO-ARK-EXTINCTION Game Of The Year last month. She's the most talented Dev here, a fckn GENIUS! Yeah... A million dollar troublesome genius..."
This game would benefit from a tutorial. MAX FATIGUE: it evolves a lot during the game, thus it's sometimes hard to consider if I can afford a Long Walk and take +3 FATIGUE without collapsing and being penalized when I don't remember if my max is 6 or 7. It should be notified on the MAIN/FATIGUE/Overdrive screen permanently. Skipping the STEP screen automatically skips the FATIGUE screen, it shouldn't. Explore option: it's STEP/FATIGUE screen should be skippable as well. Full screen: the bottom is cut, I almost missed the Overdrive option when it appeared. FIGHT MODE: the level&stats of my opponent&me should be displayed permanently and likewise on the MAIN screen . A RESTART button would be great so as to start all over again when not satisfied without having to refresh the whole page. I stopped playing after 1/3 completion of the game because of all this, what's more, no SAVE option. This game has an interesting concept, but needs more polishing. Keep up the good work! ;)
HIPSTERS and the "THREAT" quest:
(It might take a few days to complete and will make you loose money, so save up a little before doing this)
1) Click on LOBBY, set all priorities to 1 room on 1 level, OR to a room you don't have built yet
2) Set all rooms to "RESTRICTED" forcing customers to leave your hotel and to give you 0 STAR ratings
3) Wait for enough 0 STAR ratings and, TADAA!, HIPSTERS unlocked!
Click "+" for everyone to see. Have a nice game!
For a "BEST FIENDS" copy, I expected something better. The loading screens are way too long, sometimes they last forever and I have no choice than to refresh the all page. I lost 2 keys like that and never got my rewards. Moreover, the game is in french for me by default, and this french translation is not very good. Without proper game improvement, I guess I'll pass on this one.
This game is UNDERRATED. 1- If border problems (because of Kong sizing), than zoom in. 2- Mute button is on the top right of the screen. 3- I you want time for plannification before the 1st monsters come in, just pause the game in order to examine the map and choose your 1st tower placement. 4- ENJOY! Hit + for everyone to see
I think I prefer the 1rst "Keeper Of The Grove" because of its CUTE CARTOONISH towers and monsters, as well as its JOYFULL music. The new "epic music" is not bad though, but I sometimes find it too loud, and I'd rather have the possibility to lower this music's volume than to mute it. Thankfully, the sfx didn't change in this 2nd "KofG"! In spite of the little mess in the skills images, it's a good game overall. (>^v^)>Keep up the good work!<)
I noticed a few typos, mainly in the achievement tab, such as "Achievment", "exelent", "reworded"... I agree that while in the tutorial, there should be a way to skip it anytime, and more detailed descriptions of functionalities and upgrades would be great. I would appreciate to have the choice to enable/dissable the advisor's pop-up tips. But what makes me uncomfortable is to have to scroll the map while in bigger cities. It is too confusing at the same time that you try to oversee everything, queuing actions, buying, upgrading, keeping an eye on competitors, moving the map around... I also suggest to use brighter flashy colours to identify the different plants in order to make them pop out more on the landscape. But overall it's a pretty good game, well-balanced, challenging and entertaining. I had fun until the end. This game can be so addictive that my last suggestion would be to add 10+ levels! 4/5 (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ✧Keep up the good work!✧ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ)
Some towers suddenly stop shooting at enemies making it very hard to win a map or to achieve a perfect rating! It's a pity... I hope this will be fixed soon! ;)
There is a bug on the "Sharpeye Stone" support in the upgrade menu. Purchasing the 1rst level costs 10 apples, and the number of the level appears on its icon. But each time I quit and go back to the upgrade menu, the number on the Sharpeye Stone's icon is gone and this support is back to 0. Moreover, the 10 apples I paid for it are missing in the total apple count. To get all my apples back, I have to reset everything, and then purchase again all the upgrades I need, thus forcing me to repeat this process beetween every battle. This is somewhat annoying, and I rated this game only 3 stars because of this bug. A rebalancing of Level 9 and a speed up button would be nice too. Despite that, it's an overall nice and challenging little game. I managed to reach level 23, but my willingness to finish it is now undermine, I will update my rating if the bug is fixed. Keep the good work! I'm waiting for an update! :)
Very cute game!
My advice: When there is a lot of Buildings or crops to check it takes a long time to hover over everything. If an item could sparkle lightly when it is ready would save a lot of time! ;)
