You would think that hitting something head on would be worse than just grazing something, you would be thinking wrong. Whats really worse is just grazing an object. A head on collision just stops you, but a side hit or a graze turns you upside down and makes you fall a little. So annoying!!!
It doesn't matter what I do I keep losing at wave 50-52. Everyone has BARs, my sig can make near instant calls with his officer and everyone is in trenches or using natural cover. What am I doing wrong or what am I missing?
Oh revozx, I've had that rule kill me many times. I have exactly 6 men not in camonets and I get a drop that has a soldier in it, 1 wave later I get a bomb drop killing half my squad and making the other half run away.
When you start with 2 guys with 60 rifle each and they both get gibbed right as they get recognized with ranks around wave 20 and then everyone runs or stays pinned. -_-
The enemy hp rating under the wave number is kinda misleading. The faster mobs have less then the stated hp and the slower ones have more. Also, a boss HP rating would be nice.
Dark templars are way to OP. once they unlock that ice blast they can win with no/minimal damage. Ice shield... heavy strike... ice blast... heavy shrike... repeat till win. and that ability that is the 2 key at default[yes I checked dark temp out] can be spammed after a disarm WITCH IS IN ONE OF THE DARK TEMPS DEFAULT ABILITIES!
That moment when you though you killed the boss, then you see double cannons and more mines. Then you "kill" him again to see triple cannons and BS levels of purple laser balls.
@lemuel rolan DAMN! If you ask me I like 2 or 3 super solders then 1 super nuke death machine. Why? Well if he dies your whole game now sucks because none of your other troops know what to do. I've once had a solder like this but it was a sniper with an 83 starting rifle. He got like 1/2 the kills himself and then got a lucky bomb dropped on him, I lost 4 waves later.
I got a lucky squad on hasty defense, I got 2 spec ops at around 60 rifle each, a flamer[I always sell them after 5 minutes cuz then can literally friendly fire but I want that free TP] and a bazooka, I buy an engineer, build a trench for the spec ops and the engineer himself cuz he had 50 rifle. Right after I get the trench I get 2 nades that killed both spec ops and the engineer.
This game hates me.
I just started a hasty defense and I started with a sniper that had 83 rifle, I thought that was a good thing but it made all my other solders weak. I get attacked with the PAK 38 witch a couple of full auto could kill the 2 man crew before they fire a single shot, nope my full autos sucked ball because my sniper was getting half the kills himself.
Was the starting fight meant for you to lose on purpose? I cleared out everything that was sent at me till 2 unbreakable white hulled giants attacked me.
