Pseudo, I love that you made a game about a fat, virginal, middle-aged man who lives with his mother and has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. And he's not American.
Multiplayer matches are fun, but needs work. I've been stuck in a room with someone clearly AFK, backed out, and entered right into the same room again. Several times. Something as simple as a kick timer of 15-20 seconds could fix this problem; if nothing else, please add this.
A pause button would also help, since missions are so long. I died twice on the last wave of the third mission simply because my game lagged out; if I had the option to pause the game, then perhaps I would not have died from this (I think Kong's chat might have had something to do with the lagging).
Unlike some people here, I don't mind the challenge, in fact I welcome it. Having 'checkpoints' would take all the fun out of completing a mission for me. A single wave is honestly easy to overcome without a scratch, so there is no place to put checkpoints without breaking the game and making it too easy. However, I do agree the dialogue at the start of each mission is long and aggravating having to listen to over and over again, so some sort of 'skip' option would be very appreciated.
The medium badge should be hard; It took me an hour and a half to get it, and a boring hour and a half at that. Without a fast-forward button, this game is incredibly slow...
Good game, all things considered; I'd say that having so many planes is ridiculous, but the game just wouldn't be interesting if you had any less... The only achievement that has given me trouble is the 'bourgeoisie' one, because I can't dodge planes AND geese at the same time. Normally this would deserve 4/5, but I'm in a good mood, so what the hell: 5/5.
The levels increase difficulty EXPONENTIALLY. Even on hard, the first few levels are ridiculously easy, but later on it seems like each new level is twice as difficult as the last...I got stuck on level 9, hard on my first time through, and no matter what I do I cannot win... every time I figure out a strategy to defeat a wave, the next one is even harder! It just won't end! Also, a strategy guide would be most helpful, even a general one.
It's like 'Frantic', only... there's nothing frantic about it whatsoever. In fact it should probably be titled 'slow, boring drone' because that would be more accurate. However, I DO like the upgrade system, but... I feel like this game would be much better if it was less like Frantic. Click to shoot, for one thing, since the rate of fire was so slow (at least without upgrades) that the enemies would all fly by without any damage whatsoever. And when you decide it's a better use of your time to get right in their face, they start shooting at you too... All in all, not bad, but for a game that's desperately trying to be frantic it ended up as anything but.
Huh, that last level was very drawn-out... considering the fact that ten minutes in game took over twenty minutes in real time! I killed 1775 bots, too... Is it just me, or were the earlier levels actually MORE difficult than the later ones??
In the ice level you cannot see your cursor, boring game with too much repetition, possibly overcome by the choice in weapons... And I got a glitch on the third boss where I killed him, but kept fighting his minions until I couldn't respawn anymore! That needs to be fixed.
Auto grab to a ladder is not only pointless, but the methods Kylticon described would not alwasy work... for instance, there are several puzzles that require you to jump off your ladder and grab on TO THE SAME LADDER, but lower/higher on it... this technique also makes climbing ladders go much quicker. The ladder aspect is why controls are assigned as they are, and there is really no need to re-map them, though, as long as you re-map the entire control scheme and not just 'up' to jump, the game will run fine.
4088 meters... I was doing surprisingly good while listening to rush's 'Secret Touch', going through windows I had clearly missed, but I messed up as soon as he said 'Out of touch with the rhythm of my own reactions'... o_O
Anyone who is commenting on the relative ease of this game compared to the first, it is because they have only been playing on Beginner mode... On intermediate, the boss is MUCH harder, (because you can actually die), and the rest of the level seems easy by comparison... Well, any one part, that is.
My only issue is with the very end... There should be something stopping you from going through the entire level again, (blocks would do nicely), and if you weren't able to walk on top of Echelle, more people would talk IN FRONT of her... Also, a sign would help some idiots who might have forgotten, but that is only for the truly mentally defective.
This entire game is just... terrible. It is FAR too drawn-out, especially towards the end when there is literally NOTHING to do but wait for all the people infected to die, the lack of a fast-forward option makes the wait painful. Not to mention the entire concept of the game is... well, idiotic. The original pandemic games had its appeal, but this had none. The obvious flaws in this game are too many to count or type, so I'll stop there.
