Excellent game! Great mechanics and plot, for a short evening of spooky fun. I suppose your next challenge is graphics, though what you've done with pixel art is also impressive.
Very interesting game. My only quibble is that it would have been nice to know about the adult elements before playing it in front of kids who can read.
Woah...
You're so right. We haven't really thought of that...
I mean, I don't think there are "adult elements" in this game (I don't think pixelated breasts count...it's like they're already censored^^) but yeah, there's at least teen material and this game might not be suited to little kids. We'll see how we could add a sort of disclaimer. Thank you
You can design the most powerful bike and give it the most traction possible!!! But... It bounces so much it will only come into contact with the ground briefly, once every few seconds. Fix that, and you've got a 5-star game here.
Better than Last Stand: Dead Zone by a long shot. If LS:DZ dropped its waiting periods, Kred-begging, and commercialization (Fuel somehow allows you to become God? lolno), and had an offline and/or single-player capability, then it would surpass this game. Until then, LS:UC FTW!
Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville =/= Rebuild 3. Give us what we really want: A Rebuild 2 upgrade!
- Craft weapons and armor
- Option to manually scavenge, and fight zombies
- Detailed character stats like HP, armor, and strength
- Single player (some of us don't have Internet 24/7)
- No in-game purchases. If I wanted that, I'd be playing Last Stand: Dead Zone. 9_9
If you make Rebuild 3 like this, I would buy it.
Wow. The balance of this game's dynamics and aesthetics are impeccable. The music is phenomenal, and the mechanics of upgrades and resources are beautifully balanced. Congratulations!
So much more detail than the average point-and-click adventure. And the feel of the hand-drawn artwork is top-notch. Congratulations on beginning a great game. I'm excited to see where chapter 2 leads!
Thank you so much for continuing this game. Also thank you for not making the sequel a complete overhaul of the entire concept.
A few thoughts:
- The description for bacteria seems to get cut off at the end
- Too much damage in gas explosions (IMO)
- It'd be nice to have more hints about recipes
- The tutorial ought to go over the nuances of the different environments
- Why is iron more rare than silver and gold? XD
Thanks for the vote on confidence... :D
