Does anyone know what races can actually be used to merge cards with each other?

the developer needs to make it easier to restart the game instead of having to click 4 times if you get crappy card the first hand
the mith'ri'aeil and the xyloxi are the worst races to play because the ships are to weak to fight.

people mentioned adding more power cards to their decks, the only problem with that is i would wind up with getting nothing but power cards when i needed ships
