I'm stuck at the first jungle stage. When two witch doctors appear on stage, it's game over. What do?

Unbelievably addictive and very fun. Just a couple of things: 1. Make an option to "stop time" and assign training properly without making me feel like I lose a few days to slow clicking; it's a bit overwhelming at the start. 2. Make the final battle feel like an actually battle instead of another run-through level; multiple halls (levels), perhaps? As it is, the dragon fight was more exciting than the king.

A clever mix of well-known genres, this game leans more on the difficult side, challenging your fast-thinking skills. The visuals and music are simply perfect. Even with all its shortcomings taken into account, I had a blast going through the levels. 5/5. Bug: the miner block can sometimes stop working after an upgrade during the level. Restarting helps though. Also, there is little sense in mapping upgrades up to level 5 when the highest I could reach was several level 4 blocks - and that's on the last level.

Achievement: "Dunning-Kruger Effect". You knew I wouldn't rest until I googled it up. Confound these flash games, the drive me to self-education!

*spoiler* There's a little plot hole: if you focus on Swig in the Cafe and talk to him at every opportunity you have, Deuce casually mentions him having the last Star Fragment... before Swig actually tells him he has the Fragment in a cutscene.

Is there a way to swap pets and take any one you have? The bug is boring and I want my vulpix back, but it's locked behind those stone pillars and I've got no clue how to get it out of there.

One more thought: when you see a power-up that you already have, what do you do? Naturally, you use yours and pick up a fresh one in its place. So why not make it automatic? I mean, when you move your ship over a power-up that you already have, it's instantly activated. As it is now you have to look at your power-up menu, find which slot you want to free and press a key, which is nothing but a distraction.

An example of a really well-put together game. Intuitive controls, fitting music, good difficulty curve (except the last level, possibly). The enemies could be less multi-colored, also if you assign one color to bullets - red, in this case - avoid making red enemies. These things matter at high paces. @stubaa: that's funny, I thought the same. There's a part that almost exactly follows the "but that's what I'll do" line. If not for it, I wouldn't have recognized the song though, it's well-disguised.

Absolutely loved it. The visual part is a feast for my pixel-art-loving eyes: good art, superb animation, colorful backgrounds full of cute little details. Sound is fittingly amusing and overall well-done. Gameplay is not sophisticated but addictive enough to hold you through, although the difficulty curve jumped higher than I expected at the last two levels. The bosses are especially cute and well-drawn, but I must say the fire-breathing jellyman in needlessly difficult - the spot you have to drop the bomb on is so tiny it took me a good dozen of tries to make it before the time ran out (not to mention a hint from the King to even figure out how to beat him). Oh, and does it say anywhere that blowing on your own bombs makes you lose money? I didn't notice it until the volcano level, but maybe you have to upgrade bomb damage before it starts being dangerous. Overall: very amusing little game, and one of the most underplayed on this website. Kudos.

Kind of reminds me of Naturalchemist, but without all the premium account crap. Simple, addictive, shiny. And a good ambient theme. 5/5
