Short version: Yes.
Long Version: I'm pretty sure it's frowned upon when you hit the golf ball mid-air (although you would probably be given a hole-in-one for being a major badass and being awesome). I actually added the tag "golf" to the game when we uploaded it because it is the easiest way to describe the game. However, being able to add force mid-air and the addition of multiple types of blocks makes it a new game. We changed the core mechanic of golf (you hit it once and then you go from there).
So yes, it's golf-like.
You need to go back and make the initial player character something other than white, or start him in the air a bit so it falls, so it's obvious he's there. When I loaded at first, I was waiting, thinking the black and white was some sort of loading screen.
Nothing is working at the time of this writing, I'm getting NaN/NaN for everything. If you need help debugging, contact me and I'll be glad to look over your code.
Interesting point. We were able to get it in testing...but we did make the game so I guess that gives us an advantage. Keep an eye out for an update coming soon.
Ehhhh, not too bad, but the gimmick...well it seems it gets harder to thrust after the screen changes, causing me to die each time. Also, I suggest looking up how to do high scores on Kong, that'd be cool.
Save still doesn't work...at least not automatically; I hit ESC after getting the sword....kept playing after that, beat the 2nd boss, then Firefox crashed. Upon reload, i'm back after just getting he sword.
There's no save function. I know you claim there is, but there isn't. I've had to start over four times now, haven't been able to even get to the third boss.
Well there is, it just doesn't appear to work for some people. I just uploaded a new version with some changes, and it still works just fine for me.
I just tested in IE after starting a save in Chrome. Opens up just fine :/
