To beat the game you just need to focus on intelligence, art of war and patriotism and your troops will dominate everyone. For the Ninjas, in Echigo you can buy troops for $5000 and they slaughter everything. I had about 10 of them and I took over 90% of the map before they ended up dying.
To get the 500 damage you need to get something "...Of Death" and use it when you're strong enough to suffest the health and defense/dodge debuffs. I used it when almost done the game got my 500 on my second hit.
Pretty big bug.
It works on the second area, haven't tried any other places.
Buy the AC Vent thing (first barricade) jump on it, then jump again and hold space and a directio and you'll float up against the roof. You can ever change direction you're sliding (but can't stay still unless against a wall or a tall barricade).
Just don't let go of space or a direction.
