This is how I got the hard badge: Leader has the shotgun with the +4 bullets upgrade, en air strike instead of napalm (while this is my favourite). Every kind of soldier unlocked with the +100% health upgrade so they dont die so quick because you need a big group. If your group is gone, you are not gonna last. Gameplay wise: Crash the car early so you can build up your team in the easier part. I try to save my airstrike for the "5 car + Double enemy air strike"-duckup, use it a little early so the bombs hit the ground when all cars get in. the rest of endless mode is pretty much the same structures and once in the groove it isnt that hard.
Every level I take a group (mostly Dwarfs) and get them 5+ by the mages. It creates an ducking-them-over part on the map. I got stuck on the last level and I finally beat it by placing Trolls in the middle and getting them 5+
I actually did it! 100% completed! For anyone else trying to get to the impossible badge. Take Mecha85 advice and you should engage Black Captain as soon as he is on screen, (if you attack him in the beginning just as he comes into screen and double jump when launched back to evade his shockwave) you get yourself out losing a life. I got the Platina's on endless mode by charging as many enemies possible (attack is the best defence). Keep attacking, keep combo going, get soullets flowers and regaining shield is number one priority when losing one. And the thing I learned during the last boss battle that got me the platina, stay away from gliding. It leaves you slow and with no reaction speed, double jumping is faster. Good luck
This made me feel so desperate. It took me a while to figure out how the map works and after puzzling my way to the girls goal, and walking around I found a familiar way and suddenly realised where both of them went. and where the boy needed to go. Afterwards I feels really stupid and I haven't picked up on it.... Great game, nice intertwining ;)
You experienced the game exactly as I intended: filling you, the player, with the same emotion of helplessness that the characters are intended to convey. I'm glad you didn't give up on it and persevered until you figured it out. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.
My progress so far in this game:
Completed all 3 Links packs, the multiple colors make links very easy. (It has always been an easy puzzle)
Completed all 3 squared packs, again the multiple colors make it fun and it was really nice and challenging(I actually never played squared before, i didn't even understand it at first)
However! I can't complete 30x30 or bigger puzzles in the medium en hard Plus packs. The multiple colors make this gametype really chaotic and harder because you get rid of the main mechanic of having blank spaces between rows of numbers. (This bothers me a lot because I'm actually pretty good in Nonogram and I make lots of those puzzles)
It's a pretty good game, very submachine like. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible, they feel natural. Pretty fun to finish. Still curious what happens if you find all the 4 signs.
Hi. I have finished the next part of Abandoned. It's not Abandoned 2, but spin-off. Some bridge between 1st and 2nd part. Hope you'll like it. http://www.kongregate.com/games/krutovigor/abandoned-the-cube-chambers/
I made it to the last level 5 times now on hard mode, finally defeated him and nope: He survives and starts chasing me and killed me... I hate this game so much now
I'm sorry but this is probably the worst game in the series. Instead of listening to us about how bullshit the mercs are, you kept them and then added Scavangers who are even more PRO. The whole game is one big choas of fights where it seems everybody can one-shot you all of the sudden, and the final stroke is level 8, where you decide to spawn a boss after an endless horde of enemies, me without any ammo trying to defend the "friend" who is researching something on the lower floor, where ofcourse the boss keeps walking around and killing her every 3 seconds. I'm done with this game, but I hope there is gonna be a Zombotron 3 which will be less bullshity.
