It's interesting to see what's going on in the minds of the commenters. Seeing a lot of "Man + man should = gay LOLZ!!11!" and it's amazing how many people have suggested sex + beast...

Is Roholph a bad guy or good guy? Well... you'll need to pay attention to the story line for that. I'm not going to spoil the story of MARDEK as it's IMO one of the best RPG story lines I've seen and *the* best flash RPG story line. And we're not even halfway through yet lol.
I wandered into this series because Kong had badges for it (and I gotta have them all) and was really amazed at the depth of its gameplay and the quality of the storyline/dialogue. I was inspired by this game to go back and find a copy of the original Final Fantasy and play through it. While Final Fantasy is certainly an excellent game, I was actually more impressed by Mardek. It certainly goes waaay beyond the parody aspect.
Final Analysis: You simply do not get games of this quality for free. It's hard to even find games this good if you're willing to pay.
I'm looking forward to the next in the series!
MUCH better music than SCGMD 2 and 3 (Soundgarden and Noise Pollution SUCK), liked having instrumentals, even though they were all very similar. Would like to see a sequal with more songs, a download feature, and more realistic solos (too easy), but really good overall 4.5/5
