I hate to be that guy, but I played a little for the first time last night...closed the window...came back this morning, and my game wasn't saved, so it wants me to restart from scratch (tutorial and everything) :/
Don't get me wrong; I certainly appreciate the updates. But by the time you can afford a cow, 100K food just isn't much. The best way to go (particularly going for assimilation) is still just the basic build with all your horses going into wells. And I've done 5 elf assimilations now, and there still doesn't seem to be anything new except for one more added forest monster (which are also useless late-run).
Ack. Having the "dimensional sacrifice" button always visible was a great change to avoid stuff moving around. Unfortunately, you need to do the same with the confirmation checkbox next to it. Otherwise it doesn't really help.
There's nothing worse than a puzzle game with no challenge. And this had no challenge. It's simply a matter of looking around to find what piece(s) are free. There's no thinking ahead or reasoning involved. That's *not* a good puzzle game, people.
Pretty fun, but it does need a few things. One being a way to hide (or de-highlight) hints that you don't need anymore, because the larger levels can be kind of noisy in that sense.
Well there is a save button to save your game but i'll be adding online saves in due time!
