@blackdragon96 I've beaten every level in ultimate without using the succubus. Depending on one's strategy, some units are extremely useful, while others are next to useless. Also, in levels 13-16, you have to model your units in such a way that they will exploit the opponents weaknesses. Invulnerability was probably my only must have for the levels with revenge waves.
@ brandonf123 you don't necessarily need pierce to get by armor, armor just reduces the amount of damage you do to that particular card. In contrast, with pierce, you aren't affected nearly as much damage-wise as you are without it. So you can still easily win either way.
when I first saw the screen that said I had to give money for premium content I was like fuuuuuuuuuuu... Later, when it was free, I clicked it and said fuuuuuuuuuuu some more
@ fadedestiny Actually, you can make disable units and/or fire them. You go to the helmet icon. The left side is to disable/enable units the right side you'll find an x. That's the fire button.
haha, I died last round of first year. Come to think of it, even if I did challenge the king I woulda lost, seeing as I barely won with 3 uniques and a cleric. all lvl 5
After playing this game, I think I know what the developer is trying to do. First, he makes you buy a "starter pack" to let you start out on a good leg. Next, he has you buy all of the upgrades for the shop with tokens. Then, he has you "speed up" the researching. Afterwards, he makes you use tokens to get better items. Finally, he has you use tokens to buy the materials required to make those advanced items. (If you bankrupt sometime along the way, then he makes you use more tokens to buy 10k gold.) In other words, this is a game that is great in all aspects except one, the whole point is to basically beg you for gold during the whole game. 5/5 for gameplay, but I have to make it 1/5 because you are trying to rob us.
