Hate to break it to you, but since most of the stats in this game are proportional to the equipment you wear, it really should be titled gold arena arcade.
Falling off cliffs and into water (before you can swim) is far to easy, there's no warning period. Also, your character doesn't become invincible for a time after taking damage, meaning if you get stuck there's really no recovery.
I love how each new screen refills your health bar. It makes the game so much more puzzle oriented. The boss fights could be a little more drawn out though. They were all fun and each boss had an interesting attack, but it would be nice to see them develop with more attacks proceeding
In the beginning, Iron is definitely the most important mineral. Fully upgrade your shuttle so you can heal and refuel without wasting all of your minerals. When you find an artifact, the remaining piece of the map becomes an air shoot. Use it for easy access to lower levels, it saves a lot of time. That way, you actually get to use the mineral bonus.
I loved the game play and I loved the story, but I felt that ungodly amount of content between the beginning story line and the end credits was too much. I would've liked to see some story play out throughout the game, instead of just at the beginning and end 5/5
It would be amazing if we could select several units all at once. Click, drag, and be able to send them out on a single order. That way, I can move all my characters in the same direction all at once and have them all attack the same character in one action. Also, It would be great if I had the option to attack with all my stamina without right clicking five times for each turn. If we could do something like Ctrl + right click for attack. We'd have a lot less complaining about the speed of the game with these features.
This game is more like a book. I enjoyed it for what I thought it was worth. But hey, if you're trying to say something, this definitely beats the comment section on youtube. 5/5
And what game concepts would you advice to show more clear in the tutorial?
